Somewhere, Probably
Other Teams
Boston Celtics, ATP
I've seen the AFL website made an article about this and I thought i'd predict the lineups before looking at them, then comparing them.

ADELAIDE:
B:
Luke Brown, Daniel Talia, Jake Lever
HB: Rory Laird, Kyle Hartigan, Jake Kelly
C: Brodie Smith, Rory Atkins, Charlie Cameron
HF: Richard Douglas, Taylor Walker, Tom Lynch
F: Eddie Betts, Josh Jenkins, Mitch McGovern
R: Sam Jacobs, Rory Sloane, Matt Crouch
INT: Wayne Milera, Curtly Hampton, Andy Otten, David Mackay
EMG: Troy Menzel, Harrison Wigg, Kyle Cheney

NOTES: Scott Thompson has a shoulder and don't think will be straight in, and Cheney as I recall hasn't played a match yet.

BRISBANE LIONS:
B:
Darcy Gardiner, Daniel McStay, Ryan Harwood
HB: Sam Mayes, Harris Andrews, Tom Cutler
C: Daniel Rich, Dayne Beams, Rohan Bewick
HF: Dayne Zorko, Josh Schache, Lewis Taylor
F: Tom Bell, Eric Hipwood, Ben Keays
R: Stefan Martin, Tom Rockliff, Mitch Robinson
INT: Jake Barrett, Rhys Mathieson, Ryan Lester, Nick Robertson
EMG: Michael Close, Matthew Hammelmann, Ryan Bastinac

NOTES: Schache is in doubt, if he happens to miss out, bring Close in. Went with McStay over Hammelmann but when Frost come back in I would like him to be a third tall with Schache and Hipwood, he can take a mark. Also is it just me or does Bell kick a lot of goals? o_O

CARLTON:
B: Caleb Marchbank, Sam Rowe, Simon White
HB: Kade Simpson, Lachie Plowman, Sam Docherty
C: Ed Curnow, Bryce Gibbs, Dale Thomas
HF: Rhys Palmer, Jacob Weitering, Sam Kerridge
F: Jarrod Pickett, Levi Casboult, Jack Silvagni
R: Matthew Kreuzer, Patrick Cripps, Marc Murphy
INT: Jed Lamb, Billie Smedts, Matthew Wright, Dennis Armfield
EMG: Charlie Curnow, Blaine Boekhorst, Dylan Buckley

NOTES: I prefer Weitering as a backman but can afford to play him forward given Richmond doesn't have a particularly tall forward line. A lot of unknowns like Graham, Sumner, Boekhorst and Buckley I didn't know if they were injured or juts didn't get games in the preseason but I left them out anyway or made emergencies.

COLLINGWOOD:
B: Jeremy Howe, Lynden Dunn, Jackson Ramsay
HB: Brayden Maynard, Ben Reid, Josh Smith
C: Steele Sidebottom, Adam Treloar, Jack Crisp
HF: Travis Varcoe, Jesse White, Will Hoskin-Elliott
F: Chris Mayne, Darcy Moore, Alex Fasolo
R: Brodie Grundy, Scott Pendlebury, Taylor Adams
INT: Mason Cox, Tom Phillips, Levi Greenwood, James Aish
EMG: Jarryd Blair, Tyson Goldsack, Jordan De Goey

NOTES: I don't know whether Elliott will get up but i'm pessimistic due to not finding any source on return.

ESSENDON:
B: Mark Baguley, Michael Hartley, Patrick Ambrose
HB: Martin Gleeson, Michael Hurley, Brent Stanton
C: Travis Colyer, Dyson Heppell, Brendon Goddard
HF: Anthony M-Tipungwuti, Cale Hooker, Kyle Langford
F: Orazio Fantasia, Joe Daniher, James Stewart
R: Shaun McKernan, Jobe Watson, Zach Merrett
INT: Darcy Parish, David Zaharakis, James Kelly, Jayden Laverde
EMG: Ben Howlett, Andrew McGrath, Joshua Begley

NOTES: Decided to leave McGrath out. He didn't break out as much I would've liked him to, *cough* (Supercoach). But he plays in front of Stanton at half back if he plays better at VFL.

FREMANTLE:
B:
Lee Spurr, Joel Hamling, Garrick Ibbotson
HB: Cameron Sutcliffe, Michael Johnson, Darcy Tucker
C: Bradley Hill, Lachie Neale, Stephen Hill
HF: Danyle Pearce, Matt Taberner, Michael Walters
F: Ed Langdon, Cam McCarthy, Jonathon Griffin
R: Aaron Sandilands, Nat Fyfe, David Mundy
INT: Lachie Weller, Connor Blakely, Tommy Sheridan, Hayden Crozier
EMG: Nick Suban, Shane Kersten, Zac Dawson

NOTES:
Sheridan and Crozier are lucky to be playing. In my opinion, the forward line looks more balanced with Taberner instead of Kersten, who knows though, Taberner is known for lazy efforts and Kersten can just as easily get the spot. Also you know he's going to do it, Ross is gonna put Zac in anyway.

GEELONG:
B:
Jackson Thurlow, Tom Lonergan, Tom Stewart
HB: Zach Tuohy, Lachie Henderson, Andrew Mackie
C: Cameron Guthrie, Sam Menegola, Mitch Duncan
HF: Steven Motlop, Harry Taylor, Jordan Murdoch
F: Lincoln McCarthy, Tom Hawkins, Daniel Menzel
R: Zac Smith, Patrick Dangerfield, Joel Selwood
INT: Rhys Stanley, Darcy Lang, Brandan Parfitt, Nakia Cockatoo
EMG: George Horlin-Smith, Tom Ruggles, Josh Cowan

NOTES: Parfitt plays for mine, Stewart over Ruggles but it's 50-50 between those two until Kolodjashnij comes back and they play Taylor in defence. That now makes an easy opportunity for Aaron Black but since they've been training Taylor as a forward and such that's what they're probably going with.

GOLD COAST:
B:
Kade Kolodjashnij, Rory Thompson, Jesse Joyce
HB: Adam Saad, Steven May, Jarrod Harbrow
C: Matt Rosa, Aaron Hall, Pearce Hanley
HF: Alex Sexton, Tom Lynch, Michael Barlow
F: Ben Ainsworth, Peter Wright, Gary Ablett
R: Jarrod Witts, David Swallow, Touk Miller
INT: Callum Ah Chee, Jack Martin, Jarryd Lyons, Brayden Fiorini
EMG: Jack Bowes, Jesse Lonergan, Daniel Currie

NOTES: This was hard. I didn't know enough about players like Lemmens, Currie, Harbrow or Lonergan because of their limited match time, Ainsworth gets a debut, Bowes unlucky. Ablett to play 50-50 forward-mid.

GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY:
B:
Heath Shaw, Phil Davis, Nick Haynes
HF: Adam Kennedy, Adam Tomlinson, Zac Williams
C: Josh Kelly, Dylan Shiel, Tom Scully
HF: Steve Johnson, Jonathon Patton, Devon Smith
F: Toby Greene, Jeremy Cameron, Rory Lobb
R: Shane Mumford, Callan Ward, Ryan Griffen
INT: Nathan Wilson, Tim Taranto, Matt Buntine, Matthew Kennedy
EMG: Will Setterfield, Dawson Simpson, Daniel Lloyd

NOTES: Look out, GWS' depth is being tested :p anyways Coniglio's injury makes Taranto's debut all but certain. Buntine gets a bench spot thanks to Adelaide's tall forward line.

HAWTHORN:
B:
Taylor Duryea, James Frawley, Ben Stratton
HB: Grant Birchall, Josh Gibson, Shaun Burgoyne
C: Isaac Smith, Liam Shiels, Billy Hartung
HF: Cyril Rioli, Jarryd Roughead, Luke Breust
F: Paul Puopolo, Ty Vickery, Jack Gunston
R: Ben McEvoy, Tom Mitchell, Jaeger O'Meara
INT: James Sicily, Brendan Whitecross, Kade Stewart, Will Langford
EMG: Ricky Henderson, Ryan Schoenmakers, Teia Miles

NOTES: Not much to say as Hodge being suspended gifts Langford a game.

MELBOURNE:
B:
Neville Jetta, Tom McDonald, Colin Garland
HB: Jayden Hunt, Oscar McDonald, Jake Melksham
C: Dom Tyson, Nathan Jones, Jordan Lewis
HF: Christian Petracca, Jesse Hogan, Dean Kent
F: Jeff Garlett, Jake Spencer, Jack Watts
R: Max Gawn, Clayton Oliver, Jack Viney
INT: Bernie Vince, Christian Salem, Billy Stretch, Tomas Bugg
EMG: Angus Brayshaw, Alex Neal-Bullen, James Harmes

NOTES: Brayshaw misses out on form and Kent takes out Neal-Bullen. I've decided to have the Gawn/Spencer partnership in front of Weideman and having Watts second ruck. Also keep Oliver in every stoppage yeah? ;)

NORTH MELBOURNE:
B:
Marley Williams, Scott Thompson, Ed Vickers-Willis
HB: Luke McDonald, Robbie Tarrant, Sam Wright
C: Shaun Atley, Andrew Swallow, Jamie Macmillan
HF: Nathan Hrovat, Jarrad Waite, Shaun Higgins
F: Lindsay Thomas, Ben Brown, Braydon Preuss
R: Todd Goldstein, Jack Ziebell, Trent Dumont
INT: Sam Gibson, Kayne Turner, Ryan Clarke, Jy Simpkin
EMG: Sam Durdin, Majak Daw, Declan Mountford

NOTES: Decided with going with Preuss over Majak based on JLT form. Two debutants in Vickers-Wilis and Simpkin along with two zero gamers as emergencies.

PORT ADELAIDE:
B:
Tom Jonas, Tom Clurey, Matthew Broadbent
HB: Hamish Hartlett, Jack Hombsch, Darcy Byrne-Jones
C: Brad Ebert, Travis Boak, Jared Polec
HF: Chad Wingard, Justin Westhoff, Karl Amon
F: Aaron Young, Charlie Dixon, Brett Eddy
R: Patrick Ryder, Ollie Wines, Robbie Gray
INT: Jackson Trengove, Sam Powell-Pepper, Sam Gray, Jarman Impey
EMG: Joe Atley, Riley Bonner, Dan Houston

NOTES: Eddy plays as does Powell-Pepper and Atley is very stiff.

RICHMOND:
B:
Dylan Grimes, David Astbury, Oleg Markov
HB: Bachar Houli, Alex Rance, Brandon Ellis
C: Shaun Grigg, Dion Prestia, Shane Edwards
HF: Josh Caddy, Ben Griffiths, Daniel Rioli
F: Sam Lloyd, Jack Riewoldt, Dan Butler
R: Toby Nankervis, Dustin Martin, Trent Cotchin
INT: Nick Vlastuin, Reece Conca, Jason Castagna, Anthony Miles
EMG: Kamdyn McIntosh, Jayden Short, Connor Menadue

NOTES: Final chance for Conca after playing well preseason, and Butler debuts. I have zero clue where they want to play Vlastuin so I stuck him on the bench for now.

ST KILDA:
B:
Dylan Roberton, Nathan Brown, Sean Dempster
HB: Jarryn Geary, Jake Carlisle, Leigh Montagna
C: Nick Riewoldt, David Armitage, Jack Newnes
HF: Jack Billings, Paddy McCartin, Jade Gresham
F: Maverick Weller, Josh Bruce, Tim Membrey
R: Tom Hickey, Jack Steven, Seb Ross
INT: Shane Savage, Jack Steele, Jimmy Webster, Luke Dunstan
EMG: Billy Longer, Nathan Wright, Sam Gilbert

NOTES: Wright very unlucky, you can toss up between who you prefer in Gilbert and Webster while Hickey proves ahead of Longer. (I don't even know why the debate at the start of the year even started, Hickey was always miles ahead)

SYDNEY:
B:
Dane Rampe, Heath Grundy, Nick Smith
HB: Callum Mills, Aliir Aliir, Jake Lloyd
C: Kieren Jack, Dan Hannebery, Zak Jones
HF: Gary Rohan, Lance Franklin, Daniel Robinson
F: George Hewett, Sam Reid, Kurt Tippett
R: Sam Naismith, Josh Kennedy, Luke Parker
INT: Harrison Marsh, Dean Towers, Harry Cunningham, Oliver Florent
EMG: Darcy Cameron, Jordan Foote, Jeremy Laidler

NOTES: I rate Tippett as a ruckman and will prefer him to second ruck rather than Cameron. Florent plays first game and I think they'll prefer Aliir coming straight back in than play Melican so early.

WEST COAST:
B:
Brad Sheppard, Eric Mackenzie, Thomas Barrass
HB: Shannon Hurn, Jeremy McGovern, Sharrod Wellingham
C: Andrew Gaff, Sam Mitchell, Lewis Jetta
HF: Chris Masten, Jack Darling, Mark LeCras
F: Jamie Cripps, Josh Kennedy, Drew Petrie
R: Nathan Vardy, Luke Shuey, Matt Priddis
INT: Sam Butler, Elliot Yeo, Josh Hill, Mark Hutchings
EMG: Dom Sheed, Liam Duggan, Will Schofield

NOTES: Petrie plays after Lycett's injury. Duggan and Sheed are unlucky but Sheed misses on form but can basically toss between him and Hutchings.

WESTERN BULLDOGS:
B:
Robert Murphy, Dale Morris, Easton Wood
HB: Jason Johannisen, Fletcher Roberts, Matthew Boyd
C: Shane Biggs, Luke Dahlhaus, Lachie Hunter
HF: Caleb Daniel, Travis Cloke, Jack Macrae
F: Tory Dickson, Stewart Crameri, Jake Stringer
R: Tom Boyd, Tom Liberatore, Marcus Bontempelli
INT: Clay Smith, Liam Picken, Matt Suckling, Lin Jong
EMG: Zaine Cordy, Toby McLean, Josh Dunkley

NOTES: It was tempting putting Cordy in as the Bulldogs look small with Boyd rucking and potentially Cloke second ruck. Suckling and Jong get ahead of McLean and Dunkley due to preseason form.

Holy crap that took a while to write up, at least 3 hours worth of debating and such. Feel free to say your opinion on these or make your own for your respective team. :D

No chance that Col Garland gets a game for us. Many names would be ahead of him. But yeah, I think we're gonna to commit to the Gawn/Spencer duo for a couple of weeks before reverting back to Gawn sole ruckman.

Baguley probably won't play. Laverde also under an injury cloud; expect McGrath and Hocking to replace them. Excellent effort though.

MELBOURNE:
B:
Neville Jetta, Tom McDonald, Colin Garland
HB: Jayden Hunt, Oscar McDonald, Jake Melksham
C: Dom Tyson, Nathan Jones, Jordan Lewis
HF: Christian Petracca, Jesse Hogan, Dean Kent
F: Jeff Garlett, Jake Spencer, Jack Watts
R: Max Gawn, Clayton Oliver, Jack Viney
INT: Bernie Vince, Christian Salem, Billy Stretch, Tomas Bugg
EMG: Angus Brayshaw, Alex Neal-Bullen, James Harmes

NOTES: Brayshaw misses out on form and Kent takes out Neal-Bullen. I've decided to have the Gawn/Spencer partnership in front of Weideman and having Watts second ruck. Also keep Oliver in every stoppage yeah? ;)

As of right now...

- Spencil is in who-the-hell-knows territory.
- Brayshaw is in. He's been playing more outside and using those wonderful kicking feet of his.
- Kent is probably 30/70 to play anyway.
- Garland I personally think plays due to matchups, but who knows again.
- Jeffy is 50/50
- Hibb was more a knock and I think he just about goes in Rd1...if not it's going to be bloody close. Question of who comes out though.

If all of them are right I think Bugg comes out for Brayshaw anyway.

So from your list right now...feel like it's this.

Out: Kent/Bugg, Spencil?, Garlett?
In: Brayshaw, Weideman?, ANB?

Seriously though it's a fair crack at a side. Problem is half of us won't know until next Thursday who the hell is playing.

ST KILDA:
B:
Dylan Roberton, Nathan Brown, Sean Dempster
HB: Jarryn Geary, Jake Carlisle, Leigh Montagna
C: Nick Riewoldt, David Armitage, Jack Newnes
HF: Jack Billings, Paddy McCartin, Jade Gresham
F: Maverick Weller, Josh Bruce, Tim Membrey
R: Tom Hickey, Jack Steven, Seb Ross
INT: Shane Savage, Jack Steele, Jimmy Webster, Luke Dunstan
EMG: Billy Longer, Nathan Wright, Sam Gilbert

NOTES: Wright very unlucky, you can toss up between who you prefer in Gilbert and Webster while Hickey proves ahead of Longer. (I don't even know why the debate at the start of the year even started, Hickey was always miles ahead)
Good effort mate, but you can pretty much guarantee that our bench won't contain two "HBFers" like Savage and Webster, it will be either/or and I'd say Savage gets the nod for sure after his 29 disposal (at 80% DE), 700m-gained game on the weekend. Jimmy pretty stiff.

It also looks like Dempster and Gilbert are now fighting for one spot, now that Carlisle and Brown have taken up residence in the backline and Gilbo got the nod on the weekend (in what Richo described pre-game as our best (available) team), while Dempster played for Sandringham. Gilbert an ideal match-up for Watts.

Wright to take Webster's spot on the bench. He's been terrific in the preseason hitouts and played our last 8 games or whatever last year as well. He'd possibly be picked ahead of Gresham right now and if we wanted to squeeze Acres in (after his solid game in JLT2 and then 38 disposal game for Sandy on the weekend, after a slow start to the preseason hitouts), Gresh might be the one to miss out.

Very likely to look like this I'd say:

ST KILDA:
B:
Jarryn Geary, Nathan Brown, Sam Gilbert
HB: Dylan Roberton, Jake Carlisle, Leigh Montagna
C: Nick Riewoldt, David Armitage, Jack Newnes
HF: Jack Billings, Paddy McCartin, Nathan Wright
F: Maverick Weller, Josh Bruce, Tim Membrey
R: Tom Hickey, Seb Ross, Jack Steven
INT: Shane Savage, Jack Steele, Jade Gresham, Luke Dunstan
EMG: Blake Acres, Billy Longer, Sean Dempster

Is that just to reward Spencer's pre season form?

North don't pick players on form.

The perceived group that will most likely plod the best is the preference.

Some get through the cracks and the rest are used when contract renewals come around again.

It's a circus of mediocrity.

I went with Garland just for St Kilda's forward line, do you feel a smaller defence can cope or even bring in Joel Smith even?

No Hibberd? (Yes for fantasy reasons haha)

I picked this Essendon team yesterday.

B: Baguley, Hurley, Hartley
HB: Gleeson, Hooker, Goddard
C: Zaharakis, Heppell, Z. Merrett
HF: Colyer, Daniher, McDonald-Tipungwuti
F: Fantasia, Stewart, Langford
R: McKernan, Watson, Parish
Int: Green, Kelly, Ambrose, Hocking
Emerg: Stanton, Howlett, McGrath

The need for a tagger against Hawthorn was highlighted by Dangerfield and Selwood's dominance on Sunday, so Hocking is an absolute given to play.

Anyone 25 and over who's fit will play.

Hibberd not much chance. He's got 10 seasons left. Other guys only have 2-3 years left. Generally that's how Scott picks his team. It's the perfect way for a career coach to avoid getting the arse. The best is always ahead of them.

Hooker has to play forward, I don't think you can afford having Hurley, Hartley and Hooker starting and still have Ambrose on the bench. If you have three talls up forward you're already stretching Hawthorn's backline.

Brayshaw is an absolute lock over Bugg. He's not set the world alight this pre-season, but he's been good.
Brayshaw has been the one recurring complaint thus far. I guess my argument is he hasn't stood out, unlike Petracca and Oliver (players similar to him) who had breakouts in JLT 2 and 3 respectively. If Brayshaw and Bugg are on par with one another my thinking is Bugg is more a versatile player; tagging, defensive forward etc. I'll back you Melbourne supporters though.

We can run Hooker, Hartley and Hurley back with Ambrose and Gleeson + Kelly/Stanton.

Laverde is injured. So Hocking in there
I don't think we'll play Bags & Ambrose in the same team either.

Gleeson Hartley Hooker
Ambrose Hurley Kelly
Colyer Watson ZMerrett
Langford Daniher Zaharakis
Walla Stewart Fantasia
McKernan Hocking Heppell
Goddard Parish Stanton Howlett
E: Baguley McGrath Begley

No Hibberd? (Yes for fantasy reasons haha)

Hibberd is behind Wright, Mcdonald and Macmillan as a hb/general defender type at this stage. Also fighting Durdin and Vickers Willis for the 1-2 remaining spots. There is a possibility he slips onto the bench and plays more midfield time on the wing and he's a natural accumulator of the footy. He's Gibson's replacement for mine.

Wait and see till next Thursday for whether Mountford, Durdin, Simpkin, Hibberd and VW will be getting a game.

I believe it will be Durdin, Simpkin and maybe Hibberd.

Reckon you have Adelaide spot on, maybe Hampton starts in the guts Atkins to the wing and Smith on the HBF and Kelly to the bench, but very minor to the team you picked minor positional changes only

Credit to Gussman on the Freo board, this is almost exactly how I think we'll run out in rnd1.

Spurr - Dawson - Ibbotson
Johnson - Hamling - Weller
B.Hill - Fyfe - D.Pearce
Walters - Kersten - Langdon
Griff - McCarthy - Crozier
Sandi - Neale - S.Hill
Mundy - Tucker - Sutcliffe - Blakely

Pretty close to what the AFL site released, major changes being Taberner is unlikely to start over Kersten, Sheridan has fallen out of favour and probably won't play and lastly, they're on some special drugs if they think Zac Dawson is going to be left out of a Ross Lyon team. They even make mention of it and excluded him anyway. Our backline is going to look pretty sluggish out there with Weller the only one with some real dash and he's still new to the role; we're going to need to get well on top in the middle.

Edit: reading comprehension fail

Preuss for North is absolutely zero chance.

The pecking order doesn't bother with form and charity/proving a high draft pick was worth it/proving the media wrong/playing favorites/playing experience are far more important than building a premiership capable squad to this management.

It's like they are running a kindergarten not a professional sporting club.

HB: Hamish Hartlett, Jack Hombsch, Darcy Byrne-Jones
C: Brad Ebert, Travis Boak, Jared Polec
HF: Chad Wingard, Justin Westhoff, Karl Amon
F: Aaron Young, Charlie Dixon, Brett Eddy
R: Patrick Ryder, Ollie Wines, Robbie Gray
INT: Jackson Trengove, Sam Powell-Pepper, Sam Gray, Jarman Impey
EMG: Joe Atley, Riley Bonner, Dan Houston

NOTES: Eddy plays as does Powell-Pepper and Atley is very stiff.

RICHMOND:
B:
Dylan Grimes, David Astbury, Oleg Markov
HB: Bachar Houli, Alex Rance, Brandon Ellis
C: Shaun Grigg, Dion Prestia, Shane Edwards
HF: Josh Caddy, Ben Griffiths, Daniel Rioli
F: Sam Lloyd, Jack Riewoldt, Dan Butler
R: Toby Nankervis, Dustin Martin, Trent Cotchin
INT: Nick Vlastuin, Reece Conca, Jason Castagna, Anthony Miles
EMG: Kamdyn McIntosh, Jayden Short, Connor Menadue

NOTES: Final chance for Conca after playing well preseason, and Butler debuts. I have zero clue where they want to play Vlastuin so I stuck him on the bench for now.

ST KILDA:
B:
Dylan Roberton, Nathan Brown, Sean Dempster
HB: Jarryn Geary, Jake Carlisle, Leigh Montagna
C: Nick Riewoldt, David Armitage, Jack Newnes
HF: Jack Billings, Paddy McCartin, Jade Gresham
F: Maverick Weller, Josh Bruce, Tim Membrey
R: Tom Hickey, Jack Steven, Seb Ross
INT: Shane Savage, Jack Steele, Jimmy Webster, Luke Dunstan
EMG: Billy Longer, Nathan Wright, Sam Gilbert

NOTES: Wright very unlucky, you can toss up between who you prefer in Gilbert and Webster while Hickey proves ahead of Longer. (I don't even know why the debate at the start of the year even started, Hickey was always miles ahead)

SYDNEY:
B:
Dane Rampe, Heath Grundy, Nick Smith
HB: Callum Mills, Aliir Aliir, Jake Lloyd
C: Kieren Jack, Dan Hannebery, Zak Jones
HF: Gary Rohan, Lance Franklin, Daniel Robinson
F: George Hewett, Sam Reid, Kurt Tippett
R: Sam Naismith, Josh Kennedy, Luke Parker
INT: Harrison Marsh, Dean Towers, Harry Cunningham, Oliver Florent
EMG: Darcy Cameron, Jordan Foote, Jeremy Laidler

NOTES: I rate Tippett as a ruckman and will prefer him to second ruck rather than Cameron. Florent plays first game and I think they'll prefer Aliir coming straight back in than play Melican so early.

WEST COAST:
B:
Brad Sheppard, Eric Mackenzie, Thomas Barrass
HB: Shannon Hurn, Jeremy McGovern, Sharrod Wellingham
C: Andrew Gaff, Sam Mitchell, Lewis Jetta
HF: Chris Masten, Jack Darling, Mark LeCras
F: Jamie Cripps, Josh Kennedy, Drew Petrie
R: Nathan Vardy, Luke Shuey, Matt Priddis
INT: Sam Butler, Elliot Yeo, Josh Hill, Mark Hutchings
EMG: Dom Sheed, Liam Duggan, Will Schofield

NOTES: Petrie plays after Lycett's injury. Duggan and Sheed are unlucky but Sheed misses on form but can basically toss between him and Hutchings.

WESTERN BULLDOGS:
B:
Robert Murphy, Dale Morris, Easton Wood
HB: Jason Johannisen, Fletcher Roberts, Matthew Boyd
C: Shane Biggs, Luke Dahlhaus, Lachie Hunter
HF: Caleb Daniel, Travis Cloke, Jack Macrae
F: Tory Dickson, Stewart Crameri, Jake Stringer
R: Tom Boyd, Tom Liberatore, Marcus Bontempelli
INT: Clay Smith, Liam Picken, Matt Suckling, Lin Jong
EMG: Zaine Cordy, Toby McLean, Josh Dunkley

NOTES: It was tempting putting Cordy in as the Bulldogs look small with Boyd rucking and potentially Cloke second ruck. Suckling and Jong get ahead of McLean and Dunkley due to preseason form.

Holy crap that took a while to write up, at least 3 hours worth of debating and such. Feel free to say your opinion on these or make your own for your respective team. :D
:thumbsu: It's a seriously good post. I doubt if many of us could do every team like that. I couldn't make a fist of it.
:) For us though I'm in small minority (of one) on our board that isn't convinced Taranto will play. Not sure AO is the place for a debutant draftee new to the system. We could play Toby or Kelly through the midfield if necessary.
I also not sure Bunts is behind Adam Kennedy, I'm a fan of Bunts and biased but since his injury flying a pack at AO last year Kennedy hasn't really played as part of our zone. He is all heart and we used him as a forward defender at times. Bunts plays short or tall and adds more in my view.
We'ĺl miss Cogs and no doubt he would have wore Sloan, who'll now be more of a shared responsibilty.
