do we actually need a live site for this Friday? It's not the GF.

Dees are playing in Perth so fair enough, they would like a live site. But the rest of us can watch the match at home, or pub etc.

pies will be lucky to get a couple hundred people to the live site for a prelim

We don't- whilst tickets have been a problem, most members have made it in. As you said, plenty of pubs and other venues to watch.

I'm not sure what Collingwood use for a live site- but our's would be PRO, and then it'd wreck the turf for grand final prep.

I had 2 browsers on my desktop(Chrome and Internet explorer), 2 phones, 2 ipads and 1 tablet all open and only managed to get through on internet explorer which was one of the last things I'd tried to go into it? how does that work? the queue is crap! 30 mins before I got in - I'd just about given up!

Tickets yesterday with 'bought ticket and i can't make the game' 'my membership entitled me to a ticket but I live in the country so can't make it'

don't buy a ticket then campaigners or just be honest you are trying to make a quick buck, like this guy

The AFL need to reserve more tickets for members of the competing clubs, Take them from the AFL members & the MCC.
Great for the AFL to boast about increased memberships but they go missing come finals time ...

Well for a start the General public sale of tickets has only sold out for 2 matches at the MCG for the finals series (Both Richmond matches), and this was the only one not avaliable to the Neutral supporters.

There's more than enough supporters of both teams in the AFL Members that removing seats from them is just robbing Peter to pay Paul.

It's lunacy and unfair that a 'Johnny Come Lately' that is a member for the first time - maybe even just a 3 game member - can have the same purchasing rights to a qual, first semi or prelim final as a Platinum, Gold or other higher or genuine long term member of a competing club.

All finals should have some form of priority purchase applied to them.

Admittedly Im a full afl member and thus have access. But if i were not and rules stipulated full members first, then silver then the rest, then id be ok with that.

It should be practically impossible to get a ticket to this game unless you're a member of one of the 2 clubs. Over 175,000 members between us. Nobody else should be getting a crack at a ticket before those 175k (in order of longevity).

We should just get the whole 175k together, form an army and take over the MCG for the day.

So I thought I had it all sorted until the debacle of this morning. Ended up picking up 2 tickets in seperate areas from friends.
Handy because my daughter and I had already booked flights and accom from QLD .
Thanks to nut and TOOs_Finest we are going

Was gonna say we should have set up the live site at Punt Rd but then remembered the guys need to train there lol. Still it's such a massive game and with so many supporters missing out on tickets the tiger fans should have a space to watch it together
