Honestly there’s rarely a time when there’s not some sort of chaos at Melbourne Airport. There’s always some sort of construction going on. The access to the airport is by one road in, one road out, and a whole lot of spaghetti in between.

Probably not that far off tbh. Rayner hasn’t really impacted the finals yet. Sure he kicked goals in week 1 but on a pretty low disposal number. Hopefully he can have a big game.
I'm happy for Rayner to have 5 disposals if he kicks 5 goals.

This is it, in a nutshell. If we kick straight, we will win.
Big game for him today against a weak ruck opponent. Can't afford to lose around the ruck contests
Could be my heart talking. But just have a funny feeling we may win this one, and if we do, go all the way.
We obviously haven't played our best footy (consistently, at least) compared to previous campaigns.
But we have pretty consistently proved the doubters wrong throughout the season, built some belief/resilience that we can overcome adversity, and tend to think we quite like the underdog status with a little less weight of expectation.
So with that theme, this week, with Joey and Ash getting a lot of plaudits, Neale's fitness doubts and Rayner, Hipwood ,and Bailey rightfully coping a bit of a pasting; expect Joey to have a bit of an off night, Geelong to put a lot of time into Will, but two or 3 of the other guys to step up and have blinders.
If Cam and Eric can make an impact/kick straight early, get both their and the team's confidence up, we're off to the races.
Lions by 17 points. Take it to the bank, I think.
