Just won a premiership playing a key forward in ruck (rated 62 as a ruckman) for majority of the season.

Only had 2 ruckman on my list, including rookie list and my first choice (89 overall) does his ACL round 2, then my 2nd choice (18 year old 69 overall) does 2 consecutive PCLs and misses 12 weeks each time.

Luckily my midfield had enough star quality to carry my team too my 6th premiership in 2034.

Trade for a ruckman and maybe draft one :p

He will either be good for 2 years or will have a sharp drop off
Most my senior players are easily replaceable and my midfield contains a lot of guns under 25 so have a real shot at a dynasty given they continue to develop.

Found an absolute gem (will screenshot when home) who is an inside mid 80 with 90 peak with the ability to play small and tall forward. Was kicking bags and having 15-20 touches rotating between FP and HF. Finished the season with a massive 47 goals, the most I've seen from a non key forward.

Salary cap will get interesting. And your forward line. A strong midfield is gold though

Had a outside mid play as a 2nd small forward for most of a season and he got 80ish goals in a season once. Been a real lack of small defenders in my games recently. Lot of tall backs and rucks

Did anyone find that young players on the 2016 list don't level up as quickly as the computer generated draftees. I've played probably 50-100 seasons with your 2016 list haydo and this always becomes apparent about five seasons in when the real life young jet players get overtaken by ave 20-something draft picks. I went poking around in the code too and couldn't find any recognisable reason for it.

Yep, when I use St Kilda lists I normally trade out McCartin, Acres, Gresham etc out for high draft picks as it's the easiest way to create good team.

Freo looks a little underpowered on that result, we may have had a shit year this year, but that was with a ton of injuries and a shit new game plan. With our trade ins etc we should at least hit 9th IMO this year.

Essendon looks a little OP as well, I don't see them hitting finals this year considering how many of the Essendon 12 are coming back to AFL footy after a year out.

Don't see Collingwood that high up either.

I know it's obviously just preliminary, but just thought I'd give my opinion (mostly on Freo ;) )
