premiership predictions till 2030

Keep in mind, Richmond finished 9th in 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2006 and 2008. So turn those 9th placed finishes to 8th placed finals spot, thats another 6 finals minimum they could of played. Would of Made Matty Richardsons career look much better.

Also had solid players in Wayne Campbell, Brendon Gale, Paul Broderick, Matt Knights and Nick Daffy. So those blokes could of had a finals run in 1994-6 and 2000-01.
Richmond (like most clubs) always had half a dozen guns. Problem was our bottom 6 would've been hard pressed getting a game for Thomastown!!

Love to see a Collingwood v Carlton prelim in 2023 will be a bigger attendance then the GF.

I can see the following winning the flag in 2023:

No order:

Cats,Tigers,Dees,Blues,Lions,Pies and Swans.

These 7 will be in the flag mix in 2023.

Forget the rest.

A juicy prelim are:

Pies v Blues and
Cats v either Dees/Tigers

Something tells me that Swans and Lions will bomb out in the semis or if they dont make the GF.

Have more faith in the likes of tigers dees and pies to make prelims of course the cats will be there again in 23.

Still have ? over the lions and see if the 22 gf scarred the swans.

if not collingwood im tipping tigers to win their last flag for at least the next 15 years
they did it and then a done and spent force from 2024 till at least 2032
collingwood still think 2024 need 1 more bumper trade draft period and another pre season
2023 is bonus territory still

So we end clear on top with 17 (or 23)

EAD Bombers!
Sadly no.

The CCP target the Blues as capitalist pigs. They cite decades of cheating the salary cap and other misdemeanors, and wipe Carlton from the record books.

You never existed!

But don't worry, Essendon cop the same fate, leaving Geelong on 17 flags as the greatest team of all. ;)

I can see the hawks three peat of wooden spoons 2023-2025 instead of its 3 flags in a row 2013-2015 a complete reverse.

Who thinks that it could be a tigers v dees gf this year

Let’s take the spooner of 2022. North would need to get substantially better and Hawthorn substantially worse for that to happen. Then both teams will pass others in 2024-25

They have Clarko - who recorded 5 wins in 2005 one more than the 4 in 2004

Nah, Tigers already spent.

In order of likelihood for me:

1. Brisbane
2. Melbourne
3. Collingwood
4. Geelong
5. Western Bulldogs
6. Sydney

See Melbourne coming back more then richmond.
Kind of agree there regarding the tigers Fadge. Just feel 2023 is the milking out year for tigers and wringing that 17,19 and 20 flag rag dry with a hope of 1 more left in the wring. Thats why i still have them high up.
Lions and Swans are similar.
Cats for mine won the flag so they are the team to beat in 2023. If not Pies i think Cats for back to back.
As for making finals.
My dark horses are Power and Freo
Flying under the radar are the Crows and GWS
Blues have to make finals if not they have try again and have a short re build even in 2024 for 1 or 2 years and go again in 2025
Dogs to again have a token finals appearence and bow out in the elim.
Essendon a real rough chance on 8th but i feel they have a bit of a road ahead of them more likely 2024 for 8th saints same situation.
Eagles Roos and Hawks are celler dwellers until 2025
this i think is a fair assessment.
i know these are more 2023 focussed but i decided to use this till 2030 thread.
