just wondering from blue fans your thoughts on the seasons of karl norman and ian prendagast and if you feel they have a future with the club and what there future potential is

cheers

Norman surprised me in being able to play seniors this season considering where he was picked. Now I think he is a fantastic player. His commitment to the contest, recovery ability and pace was fantastic. Future CHB based on what I have seen.

Prendergast had a good first season, a terrible second season and has bounced back well. Excels at being a tall run with player due to his pace and superior fitness. A great athlete with a good handball and plenty of courage, if he can develop decent kicking skills, he will have a long career. Looks uncoordinated but at least gives his all.

agree with ODN. Norman showed a bit esp. for last draft pick in first year. good size, mobility, toughness, reasonable hands, could develop into strong defender or even run with, impressive with a couple of great efforts against swans, spoil running same way as ball and running down a rampant williams. needs to be given a couple of years to develop.

impressed with prenda, at crossroads but did well during the year, picked for some really difficult jobs and did okay, great endurance, improving ball skills and even kicking, slotted a few goals. can further develop skills and has size and great mobility - i.e. played on Buckley and Goodes, so pretty versatile and did really well on Goodes (who has had a stellar year). definitely retain prenda ( and clealry pagan rates him) main deficiency (apart from dodgy skills) is use of body, has little idea how to use body in marking contest and got found out at CHB a few times on body players (like Rocca)
