I'm genuinely surprised people online think we'll get smashed, these All Star teams whenever they do an AFL club vs a random team of all stars never win usually, the AFL club usually always wins.

There’s someone currently loosing their mind on Reddit convinced we’re going to get pumped and “what’s the point of this etc.”

Such a Freo fan thing to melt over us getting pumped in a game that won’t happens for 4 months.

Yeah that's true Tanya, so instead of giving us the role of the Washington Generals against the Harlem All Stars, give us the bloody dreamtime game for premiership points at the G every year in prime time. You know, because as you said we have the best indigenous record going around.

Interestingly it’s the 2015 Indigenous Guernsey in that photo (it still actually says 2015 on it) but we are definitely wearing an updated design with the Stolen Generation flower on it.

It’s a great idea. Hope we do it for every preseason.

Don’t think there’s much chance of that. As soon as other clubs are interested they’ll take it off us, if not rotate it.

They could already be rotating it and we’re club no.1 in that rotation for all we know. I would expect rotation would be done more on a state basis than club basis though so we could probably expect to play it every 7-8 years.
