Tom Gross . Wasnt a flash in the pan on Wednesday , backing it up today . He has family in Vic and W.A. I was talking to relatives of his at training at Mineral park the other week . They were over here on holiday and watching him , they were also at his house in Vic when he was drafted . Becoming a bit of a favourite of mine and seemingly others on here too with his tenacity at such a young age . Might have a real gem .
All whilst donning the #3 to take the complete piss out of fans and rub it in further.
He is so fat he has discovered type 3
His mother's from WA, I believe.
Said after being drafted that he spends every Xmas in Perth, so he's not going to be getting homesick any time soon.
Another who was keen to play for WCE, alongside Grego.
Grego will jump ship once they introduce the Kimberley side though

Genuinely surprised he got past pick 30, let alone 40. Great pick for any team, let alone one with minimal midfield depth.

Hope so, can't do anymore than impress at training and match sim.
He was playing in that Vic Metro side with a midfield of Ashcroft, M Reid, Smillie, J Smith, Moraes and still got named in All Australian squad at HF.
High praise and he looks to have the skill, tenacity and will to succeed, probably plays a bit like a Toby Greene from GWS without the smartass imo.

For those that watched the sim, who were the KPDs and KPFs for each team? Assume it was Oscar and JWill as forwards for blue with Gov as a KPD.

Gross has a higher ceiling and lower floor and is more impact/brust rather than accumulator. He’s faster, stronger more explosive and kicks goals but without the (prime Mitchell) 30+ possession count and his disposal needs work.
Tenacious as ****.
No. Burst athlete at this point rather than a slow grinder like Mitchell, and he is high impact - high score involvements, metres gained etc

What a nothing article apart from saying Maric rebounded and kicked well. Watch for the updated one once they’ve checked BF and discovered Gross played nicely.
I know, their observations are not even worth mentioning most of the time
