Final 20min match sim period split into two 10min halves with sides slightly evened up

Didn’t help - Blue added another 5 goals to nil with Allen and Cripps adding a second goal each whilst JWill, Ginbey and Hewett all hit the scoreboard

Impressed with the games of Ryan, Brockman, Kelly, Cripps, Ginbey, Allan, Duggan and Hutchinson for the Blue team. Gross was the standout for Gold - really worked hard against the flow

Waterman, Baker, Yeo, Graham, Bazzo and Jamieson didn’t play

Edwards, Chesser and Sheed only played the first two periods as far as I could tell

There was a focus on moving the ball quickly but most of it was around the flanks and not a lot through the corridor - certainly less than I think we’d be hoping for

Will do individual games a bit later

Cheers. Look forward to seeing the detailed coverage and footage from the club....or will it just be a couple of generic paras on the website and 10 photos on instragram.

Cheers. Pleased to hear Gross caught your eye, I really rate him.

I think teams these days clog and defend the corridor so well that maybe going the 'longer way' is actually quicker as well as safer in case of turnover

Love your work as always

Says here we've taken Collingwood's Talent ID manager, Derek Hine.

Sidenote: I don't know what a Talent ID manager does.

That is a fantastic acquisition, absolutely delighted with that.

No, we got Adam Shepard, Hine's replacement.

He's been there since 2012 though and was a lifelong 'wobbles supporter.

From what I gathered from that article we got Adam Shepard? Not Hine?

No, we got Adam Shepard, Hine's replacement.

Must of taken a fair bit to persuade to jump across then , unless he wasn’t to happy with Collingwood after they “mutually” parted ways with Hine the bloke that hired.

Just went from the post, article is paywalled. If it’s not Hine then im less enthusiastic

It's definitely Adam Shepard. From the article (which isn't paywalled for me for some reason)

"Three sources with knowledge of the situation, who did not want to be named in order to speak freely, said the club had offered Adam Shepard a role as replacement for Derek Hine. They then planned to appoint another person to work as the talent ID manager.

But Shepard told the club this week instead that he would take a similar role at West Coast."
