Pick 56 - Simon White

Height: 190cm
Weight: 88kg
DOB: 17/06/88
Recruited from: Subiaco (WA)
Bio: Versatile tall who generally plays down back, in which his closing speed makes him a headache for leading forwards. Can go forward and kick goals at crucial stages. Great leap and is strong overhead

well, we miss out on Panos, Bullies take him, I'm really not sure why we didnt take him, he was touted as a top 30 pick in the draft

Pick 56. Simon White / Subiaco / 192 / 89

Some chance to go to WCE would have thought. Athletic tall who has terrific pace for a big fella and will probably settle as a FB or CHB. 21 yo so some chance to play pretty quickly.

Looks like he's our mature ager.

Levi Casboult

Height: 198cm
Weight: 103kg
DOB: 15/03/90
Recruited from: Dandenong Stingrays
Bio: Tall forward with fantastic overhead ability. Contested marking is a clear strength as is his ability to consistently win on-on-one contests. Over age player for Stingrays in 2009 whose clean finishing skills were obvious, booting 41.14 for the season. His 3.04 sec for the 20m was very good for tall player at Victorian screening.

you muppets dont think that through almost 90 picks in the nd, 7 in the pre-season draft and over 40 in the rookie draft, there may be just some reason panos hadn't been taken... Ffs.

Thats over 130 picks... We have no ****n idea at all. There are people who look at these kids full time...

Stop being a you-tube hero recruiters and believe in the club...

qft!

Actually I retract my earlier comments about Hughes and recruiting, I wanted Panos, but he looks like a gem ...

Lets hope he finds form for the Ants and may get a promotion to the senior list but he may be a 2-3 year project (talls always take longer)

BTW ROFL at West Coast, lets wait for Bay 13 to get into meltdown :D

No disrespect to Panos, but every man and is dog overlooked him in the ND. Then most clubs overlook him in the RD three times, with the bullies eventually taking him in the third round. Clearly he is not rated bythose who know - don't know why some people here look on him as something special needing to be snapped up.

Do believe in the club, never questioned their recruiting. But I think we should have taken Panos. Well we will see how this turns out for us.

Carlton - Pick 66 - Josh Donaldson

Height: 193cm
Weight: 85kg
DOB: 04/05/91
Recruited from: Ocean Ridge/West Perth
Bio: Athletic ruckman with excellent speed and leap for his size. Tremendous competitor with good hands overhead. Can play a variety of roles. WA U18 representative in 2009. His 74cm running vertical jump was in the top 8 per cent at Draft Camp and his 8.22secs for agility in the top 20 per cent.
Matt Burgan's draft rating: 40-late
