again, no shock from you given the things you like in life
Given you replied to a post initially directed at me, I’ll assume the following in my response to you: 1) you’re a leftie because you’re aIf people can't see that this federal government took the opportunity of this pandemic to smash the living sh*t out of the tertiary education sector, I don't know what to say to them. It's so blatantly clear, they haven't even tried to hide it.
My bad. Thought I was just following on from the discussion that already began.you started the debate about private vs public by suggesting there was no difference at all between them
It’s a baseless belief the expression of which avoids unreasonableness purely because you admitted there’s no real foundation for that specific accusation, and the fact it’s election season.i question the track record of our current liberal federal government, where I can't really point to any vision or policy that seems to improve education. And obviously big steps backwards by excluding education (tertiary sector) from Jobkeeper during the lockdowns. Ongoing cuts to higher education, increased user pays fees (that applies to both sides of politics but more the liberals)
its not unreasonable to believe that the liberals want to keep many dumb and manipulated into voting for them for the sole purpose of retaining power and continuing corrupt behaviour
I thought I said no foundation to find a policy that lnp have done to improve education, and while both sides have stripped down tertiary more of it has occurred under lnp watch (possibly due to more time in power). The tropes of lnp being party of business profiting from the oppression (underpayment and removal of conditions) of workers is valid imo. Keeping workers dumb is a key plankIt’s a baseless belief the expression of which avoids unreasonableness purely because you admitted there’s no real foundation for that specific accusation, and the fact it’s election season.

So read carefully: I didn’t write or imply that the education sector hasn’t suffered funding cuts during COVID, rather, I wrote to advise the 100% leftie hemp loving YouTube conspiracy theorist Stan, that no lawful legitimate political authority in Australia goes out to deliberately limit education opportunities for a group of Australians so as to keep that group down. It’s a ridiculous suggestion.
Edit: My mistake, I see that you’re not a host yet, but your prospects seem good ;-)
There are indirect effects to every political decision. That’s a far cry from accusing a government of deliberately setting out to keep a group of Australians down. It’s similar imo to accusations that the labor party sabotage business and want to wage a class war. I’m just adopting the language of our political leadershipThere are indirect effects to every political decision. I concede, I take back my post insofar as labelling you a leftie. However, if you don’t mind I’d prefer to leave my post there for the true lefties and of course for Stanley..I don't know what a host is
As for being a "leftie", what tripe. I don't talk too much about myself on here but suffice to say, if the "lefties" ever got into power I'd be out of a job and my career would be over due to the industry I work in. So no, I'm not a "leftie". The tag has little and diminishing meaning in Australia. The use of it, more often than not, just signifies the user is a dickhead.
I understand. That’s what I meant when I wrote that it’s election season. It’s similar imo to accusations that the labor party sabotage business and want to wage a class war. I’m just adopting the language of our political leadership
Jordies has you rattled and you are lashing out. Jordies? What are you on about Stanley? Is that like LW hemp talk?Jordies has you rattled and you are lashing out. Time to log off and take a walk outside.
Explain why our Unis were denied jobkeeper while billions was wasted on their donors m8?
How did you arrive at “religion” from my use of the word “host”?Host Patrol?
Is that some kind of religious designation?
How did you arrive at “religion” from my use of the word “host”?
You’re likening me to a virus?Every virus is looking for host.
You’re likening me to a virus?
Why?
How old are you ?I refer to your signature, it reminds me of Toxoplasma gondii, which is spread via cat excrement. It is perhaps most famous for some of its claimed effects on human behaviour. Toxoplasmosis infections have been associated with an increase in aggressive and impulsive behaviours, a reduced perception of risk, and an increased probability of developing psychotic symptoms.
This explains you attacking lefties at every opportunity.
How old are you ?
You’re advocating LW policies during election season, I’m advocating the opposite and you consider that attacking? That's irrelevant. I'm not the one claiming enlightenment via feline intervention.
If you are going to attack perceived lefties with unhinged rants, expect pushback.
