Redcliffe v Pine - Tigers by 50+,Redcliffe have had a rough couple of weeks verses 2 top sides imo, This week will show if Redcliffe are there abouts again.. Swans struggling...

Beenleigh v Suns - Suns by 36, Not sure what to expect from Beenleigh as I haven't seen them play, but I do rate the Suns as a top side.

Park Ridge v Ipswich - Pirates by 24. Small ground.. if Park Ridges' dominate midfield and forward line can score quickly it might be a day of chasing for the Eagles.

Wynnum v Moorooka - Roosters by 36. The roosters will just keep on keeping on..

Carrara v Bond - Bond by 22. Are the sainters improving or are bond the real deal? Tipping bond just because of they're comforting win last week..

Given they are army personnel and it's ANZAC Day on Saturday, I think its a bit more than 'just unavailable on Saturday due to work'.

ANZAC Day is a very special day for Australians, and particularly so for defence force personnel. Well done to both clubs for finding a solution.
Finally someone with common sense... ANZAC day is sacred to alot of people, especially army personel... it wasnt Pine Rivers pulling strings at all... They tried to organise both games for friday night i order to stick with structure but due to the Redcliffe boys knowing "some" of the army boys personally declined i believe knowing it would force them out and leave them under strength... but life goes on, just thought id clear up the misunderstanding that the Swans "pulled some strings" haha

Fair call i've since spoken to a pine player who cleared it up. seems a bit strange redcliffe would purposely say no just so they would go in under strength? any truth to this redcliffe boys? i personally (knowing ANZAC day is sacred) would feel honored to play on the day.. and against some blokes who are in the ADF would be something incredible. all teams must share a beer after there games in good spirit

Have it on good authority from a reliable source that it was the case, Truth!!
Which isn't it the spirit of things. Goes to show Redcliffe haven't changed over the years with that mentality!

To be fair to Redcliffe, asking them to give up a home ANZAC Day game is a big ask.

Huge revenue driver for the club I would have thought, and they've been through another flood this year!

Surely Ressies on Friday and Seniors on Saturday is a good result for everyone. no need to look for a bad guy

The Tigers will struggle playing friday nights due to work commitments, and we are all about the Saturday games good for the club, the revenue and the players! Pine are not even coming in under gunned if you look at the team sheets. Get around the ANZAC day games!!!

Redcliffe V Pine Rivers: Tigers by 28 if they kick straight.
Beenleigh V South East Suns: Suns by 40

So with that in mind are Park Ridge unbeatable this year or have Pine Rivers not changed anything over the years except their name and relationship with their juniors?

Will be heading to Rothwell park tomorrow. I know we all like seeing the Tigers get a touch up but I think the Tigers might win by a couple tomorrow. Surely they can kick straight at there home field this week.....
