The question to be asked, is how many staff does AFLQ actually have to properly manage and oversee all leagues in Queensland.

More than they have evidently, the Competition Manager postition up here in Capricornia to my knowledge still hasn't been filled and we're 3 weeks out from season start (one knocked it back citing inferior financial terms).

I tipped Grange but now not sure as the team is minus Eagles, Westacott and Fidler. Three of their best.

Yeah its no fantastic remuneration for the hours performed I think. Hence why I think its a given that the people love the game that do take it on. Richie Lyons has been a fella that has been involved in the game from about the age of 8 from Noosa to Mt Isa to the GC etc so i'd say he has a vested interest in how it performs.

Ran for approx 3 minutes.

5 pts lead at qtr time to the visitors. Lots of minor scores, but wouldn't say it feels like peppering.

Near to half time and despite quite a few odd moments, wg lead by 3 kicks, 4.4 to 6.7

Panthers running harder now. Turned 6 goal mgn into 15 pts this last qtr.

Wg feel classier but I cannot fathom their forward setup. They just load up and barrel it into the 50 every time. Feels like a lot of hope and trust.
