If hes VFL listed, he is a 2 pointer. Like Bertolli Simmonds...šŸ˜‰

But 3 points kind of suggests he is neither 6 (the correct value) or 2 (the VFL value) - so just looks like some sort of deal has been done.
VFL listed is a 50% discount hence the 3 points. Lloyd is all fine but a deal was done for HBS how else do you explain him never playing for lions vfl

Pretty sure all of them happy to play finals in some form in either grade and not play seniors to get smashed every week at another club.

Plus 5+ points going to other clubs doesnā€™t make it attractive recruiting idea for them anyway.

Sherwood used 29 of their allotted 50 points on the weekend. MTG used 31. So i dont think points would matter to either club at present.

Sherwood would be the preferred destination as they will be in the QAFL for the foreseeable future.

Sherwood (in your own words) competed well v siders on the weekend for nearly 3/4. Some new recruits would help no doubt.

How important are reserve grade finals anyway?

50% discount rounded down for HBS?

Half of 5 is 2.5

Hard to keep up.

I'd like to be VFL listed and never attend training or play and have the coach not even know my name.

Didn't hurt us on the weekend though, he didn't even play.

I always marvel at the suggestion that players just up and move from a club they are invested in and move to someone else where they donā€™t have their heart in it.

You seem very pro Sherwood.

Are you Thommo?

Been suspended and injured. Was due to play with Lions 3 weeks ago but got suspended the prior weekend.

Then picked up an injury at training. Lions nearly back to full list so limited if any top ups required at present.

Pretty simple.

This score has never occurred before.
The margin of 107 points has now occurred 11 times.

The last round had some decent margins recorded. The second closest game of the week had a margin of 53 points.
Yet, with an aggregated margin of 478 points across six games (13 + 53 + 79 + 88 + 107 + 138), it still pales in comparison to the 1990 Round 2 results. Across four games, the total margin was a mammoth 663 points (59 + 77 + 226 + 301).
Here's hoping for a closer round this week.

Donā€™t let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Lloyd was initially 6 points I think when played first game. Then Brisbane looked at taking him in mid season draft because of injuries. So they put him on VFL list to qualify his 3 games before mid season draft. AFL then said no to going onto AFL list because he retired.

So he can just stay on VFL list. Not sure what problem is with that or how itā€™s Morningsides fault.
That whole system of VFL players back to QAFL level is ridiculous around points.
