My Ladder Predictions:Wondering if anyone would like to for a bit of fun put in their final ladder for the H&A season?
Look forward to playing on dirt the rest of the year out there after round 5-6….in all the debate about when to reschedule, I never thought maybe we just play tomorrow!
Probably would have been a better outcome for our field, but couldn't see any future opportunities when it was all being discussed.
Not sure about every ground, but this was Sandgate at 3pm. It was like this most of the day. What are you hoping to achieve playing when it’s this bad? Destroys the oval for the rest of the year, especially clubs with 1 main oval, and what sort of game will be played? “We use to do it back in Victoria” is a cool phrase, but clubs getting 75-150mm of rain in a day, it can make a great oval poor for the rest of the season. What happened to our society? Calling games off due to rain.

Spot on. For the sake of a bit of dick swinging u stuff your oval for the next month. Not sure about every ground, but this was Sandgate at 3pm. It was like this most of the day. Was a pretty good game considering the conditions. Sun came out during the second half and ball handling got better. Being slightly mounded through the middle Kawana drains really well it was only really the pockets that bogged up a bit. Roos played the conditions better. Much stronger inside the contestLooks like both sides managed to score ok in the Roos v Aspley game. Good win by Roos to start year
Most of SEQ has had well over the average yearly rainfall for Melbourne in the last couple weeks. Sandbagging stations open/roads cut/people flooded in etc.Spot on. For the sake of a bit of dick swinging u stuff your oval for the next month.
Ppl love saying “wouldn’t happen back home” conveniently forgetting none of those states receive 100mm in a day let alone a week most of the time.
It can also be the danger getting to and from grounds for some ppl depending on where they live.
Trust me the only weather condition that would make him look fast was a direct lightning strike on the other 35 players on the groundYou loved this weather when you played it made you look fast![]()
During the early stages of Grange Noosa it looked like a bayou. But when the rain stopped it started drying out quite quickly. Was quite surprising, the recovery .
But I agree with rescheduling games when the conditions are past a certain point. Do the QAFL have free fixture space to do it?

Thanks boxo,What we were told is that the only space is during the bye weeks obviously and then it becomes a bit a mare for clubs because they’re generally screaming for those breaks during the season.
