I know flags aren’t won in May but Noosa looking very good so far.
Still a very long way to go smy.Noosa certainly thumping sides when they get the chance however looked fumbly and under pressure in their loss to an understrentghed Roos outfit three weeks ago.Did play very well against Springwood last week and again yesterday. Our kids have been fantastic and are just livening up the place.

My spies tell me the big boys from head
Office spoke to
Noosa and the Roos about going to the
QAFL next year ?
So 11 sides ? We all know that’s to many or will they drop Sandgate back?

And rumours around saying mid
Thirties for the cap
My god they both would well and trulky
Bust that
So im sure there hands will get pushed
Or take a massive step backwards

The salary cap/points system benefits clubs with strong juniors - think Maroochy wouldn't have an issue tbh. Right now they would be fine re points and salary from what I know.

Just because they spoke to both doesn't mean they want both next year. I think we will see one of them going in 2020. It'll be interesting to see what impact it has on the club that does go - will local supporters drop off because they miss the local derbys? Will it put a strain on finances or enhance them through greater sponsorship? Time will tell, but it is time for a Sunshine Coast team in QAFL.

Running your complete football Budget on 3 home derbies surprises me .....You cant tell me when the Labrador and PBC and other QAFL sides play they would not get good crowds.....
No Disrespect to Coorparoo.... Uni and Burleigh but there not QAFL sides If they think there going to get crowds To 2nd Div Brisbane and GC sides
there got to be joking and not thinking Long term...
talking to most of the other Div One teams they know they cant win....Moving the roos and noosa out would freshen up the comp and make it easier
for Div. two side to move up to Div 1

Noosa got a crowd of about 1200 to its game last weekend vs Burleigh I was told. Mind u that had something to do with Dane swan being the main speaker at the presidents luncheon....

Player payments between Maroochydore and Noosa very close mate infact hardly anything between them from what aflq hierarchy have indicated..You guys at Caloundra do an awesome job to be so competitive with what you can pay and I know our playing group rate u very highly as I’m sure Roos do to.The comp isn’t as one sided at the top end like most people think and we know that.

If the cap is set at around $30000
That’s $90 per player
Both know they are way over that

Probably 3 of the 4 GC clubs and 1 of the Brisbane clubs.

A few would be barely meeting the minimum, which I've heard is 60%

Thats about $25k more than the Roos pay now. I wonder how many QAFL clubs pay 100% of the cap.

Does every player at Maroochydoore get paid for a senior game? Or do you have 10-15 blokes on decent $ and the rest play for the jumper?

whcih is why I'm sceptical of $40k as their total payment figure

Gerorge Hannaford for example holds clubs to ransom, and he is there this year

Some are on match payments, all 22 per game share incentive $$$ divided between best six players on ground. It gives opportunity for a promoted young player that plays well to get some $$$ Most people think Maroochydore pay players more than they actually do. No contract is for more than $200 per game.

$200 not bad for playing in the 3. Eat league in QLD
I’m sure half the QAFL Clubs would
Be no where near that
