I think Kedron will be very competitive but definitely not a shoe in.
The Kedron reserves however I think in this division must be looking the goods.

Beleve kedron getting good numbers should be strong in both grades...
very keen to get backup to div 2...
With grange recruiting well, kedron may get a few from there..
interesting comments about redcliffe
..my whisper is they could be big improvers...
reckon wynnum will be solid performers...

Aflq was happy on how the club handled the matter and how we followed up with Redcliffe numerous times to see if their player was ok. No doubt the club wants to get back to division two.
But it's a long season and every club must be going into it thinking they have a chance.
As for numbers what is a good number at this time of year.
So much time before the first home and away game.
I think a lot more player movement and speculation before the first bounce.
 
Spies tell me a Pirates player was offered a significant sum ($3.5k+ one off payment) to jump ship to Ipswich Eagles.

Said player wants to take his chances in the 2018 AFL Draft though, so decided to stick with the Pirate Ship apparently ;)

Now the rumors are really warming up, 3.5k + a one off payment? I'd suggest you change your spies.

My mail out of the buffs was that JR had signed a player contract with them for 2018 , was told this yesterday , time will tell

From what I hear Kedron are very keen on a successful year (but who isn't) and are having a Pre season week end camp at Bribie this week end including a possible game v Bribie

$3.5k+ in a one off payment, so $3.5k total, but not accrued as match payments - in a lump sum! Very confident is correct weight mail.

Is the great George pulling on the boots at Kedron? If he does, he will win that division on his own for them!

This is 100% true, seems weird a contracted player would be still shopping himself.

Will have to wait and see but I think a few older lads might be returning to the den.
Only able to play ressies by choice or unable to comitt to regular training and don't want to stop the younger lads from playing ones.
Should make for an interesting year.
Especially if they can get George to have a few in the twos as well.
