Yes it sure is hard getting umpires! Surely there’s room for it though . You have pac pines and north shore in the same division. Man that would be tough on a Friday night instead of a Saturday.

Aflq have been very strong in that it's Friday nite or two teams. Don't really see that changing anytime soon.

I hope they get up. The seniors were very competivie the problem was with numbers in the twos.

They appear to be ok and included in competition. But that may be open to change as season draws closer.

Not entirely accurate. The 3 teams currently with exemptions return to 45 points. But...all clubs are able to present their case for additional concessions.

Henderson (HB) played NEAFL and won their Div 1 B&F in 2020. Dodge (FF) is his mate, recruited to play VFL last season. Both signed to play QAFL next year.

I thought the points and cap were put in place for a reason. Seems useless if you can just get more. Sort of goes against the reason it was implemented.

Things are going to get interesting with points as play hq is only going to date back to 2015 . Gunna make it hard to know who 1 point players are !

Why is the points not applied to equalise as it has provision. MB after back to back flags still had same as everyone else. There is provision for a drop as well as an increase.

Had 11 under 21… penalise them for playing kids haha… think they averaged 37 points…. Handicap wouldn’t of made any difference.

Added a couple of keys and showed us the path to follow. Why would you reduce points because they did it better than anyone else. My question is if you make a maximum points system why should anyone be allowed to even apply for more. It completly goes against the philosophy of how it was presented to clubs. It may not be the best system but it's the one we have.

Because it’s not an even playing field. Some clubs have money , some don’t . Some clubs have flashy 40 million dollar complex’s and host afl trial games and grand finals . Some have 50 year old change rooms . Some clubs can promote colts/ 16’s into the seniors others don’t have any . I’d take a 16’s and colts team over 3 extra points any day !

They are, however if a club chooses to put a case forward to additional points they can...then its up to AFLQ to determine if its warranted or not. YES, additional points awarded. NO, points remain as is.

This is open to every club and criteria apply. Read the PPV documentation.

It's never going to be an even playing field never has been.
I can go right back to when Southport first entered the qafl. Played on a circle then got money and the rest is history. The only two things that we have is the cap and the points. I understand that you are allowed to apply but my view is it shouldn't be granted. Once you do it for a couple then you open the door and the rule becomes mute.
Either stand by the rule or scrap it.
