While I 100 % agree there is a lot to do on game day I believe, and correct me if I’m wrong, that live scoring is done by the away team and that it is a requirement to be done from a league perspective (although I don’t think there are any punishments if not done).

And I think it’s fair, either do just live scoring with no goal kickers if you are struggling to have the volunteers or if you are going to enter in goal kickers. Do it for both teams

I belive that to be the case.
But who really cares who kicks the goals.
You'll find that out later.
Just do the scoring and all good.
If your that interested in the game go out and watch it.
Still shit load of jobs when playing away.
Some volunteers don't travel so home games are sometimes easier.

Just for your information sadly nearly a dozen players missed out on a reserves game for this weekend believe it or not and 6 players who played in last years senior grand final are lining up in the reserves Saturday because of the depth of the list. Head on down Saturday and take a look for yourself ressies start at 2.45pm. Otherwise stop talking shit behind your keyboard on something you know nothing about.

They certainly did, the amount of players we have lost since last year it would be fair to say we are rebuilding so no we are not playing the “don’t look at us game”

Will be an interesting season to see which opinion is actually correct within the playing group.

No dramas if its not done at all, or just done with quarter by quarter updates or live scoring without detail.

But clubs that go to the trouble of doing live scoring and entering every single goal their own side kicks as it happens, then just not entering anything for the opposition is just cynical and rude.

There are several regular offender in this regard.

I just hope you can get through such a tough time. I get sick of volunteers who don’t do everything to your liking.

believe when they first brought in live scoring in it wasn’t compulsory but now AFLQ want it done properly, I know we received warnings last season about not doing it properly and I’d imagine after a certain amount of warnings there would be some type of find and would be the same for all clubs

Angry have you done live scores it seems not .Fan is correct a lot of clubs in all divisions ignore putting in the opposition goal kickers .its not that hard yes you may miss a couple but to just not put any in why bother doing it .And if look through each weeks the same clubs ignore the opposition goal kickers every time they do it .So its basically the only thing extra to do on away games its not that hard to get this job done .

I will challenge that, the people you see at our home games are no different to anywhere else, and the C word used excessively ? Do you think if that was the case we would have so many young families involved in our club, in a space of 3 years our junior base has grown to 0-150+ if the behaviour you suggest is happening I guarantee the numbers wouldn’t be grow as rapidly as they are because no parent would want their kid around that.

And as for men’s teams yeah we did lose a few players but replaced them with quality and you should know this if you’ve watch some games as suggested, and for me to say we are rebuilding Maybe there’s a little tongue in cheek there but “ Outandabout” and others on here are not stupid they know the mind games that go on, maybe instead of slagging us like you do regularly maybe have a look at our list break it down individually and see what each player has achieved playing wise plus they are actually a good bunch of kids and blokes . We are a club that is on the rise wether you like it or not we are only going to get bigger!! Maybe just maybe you should concentrate on you own club And if you believe in so much what you say about us why don’t you tell everyone on here who are.

Correct!! It was a ressies game during preseason and he was immediately booted from the club after the game and officially by Email the next day and we were congratulated by AFLQ by our swift action, and we we will do the same again if required. We will not tolerate any bad behaviour any more

But I already know I'm not stupid.
Mum had me tested and in fact I was the only one in the room who got the all the block's in the right holes.
They said I had the brain capacity of a whale.
I think we can all agree that that's a pretty big fish.

How do you win away against a good side but get flogged the next week at home.
Wynumm making a strong statement early.

Gympie are just short on players. Look at their ressies results. No depth. Thats going to hurt them when key players are out for whatever reason.
Know what that is like as weve been there ourselves a few years back.

Good to get a win against Jindalee yesterday.

Obviously a good win for us. Forward line moved well and midfield gave plenty of supply. Jindalee battled really hard and have some good young kids coming through - hopefully they can build off that development.

For our guys, always good starting the year 2-0.

Any reports from other games around the traps?

Well that happens all the time at this level.
As stated if you don't have a bit of debth your in trouble.
Having said that wynumm are certainly a different side compared to be the last couple of years.
Defenitly on the the up and the more they play together the better they will get.
Jindalee put on a great day.
Plenty of decent blokes in the club.
Saw some of the 18s and if they they can keep those young lads next year they will move up the ladder very quickly.
Going to be a hard first year but they will be better for the experience.
Moorooka having a couple of wins.
Good luck to them hope they celebrated the day very hard.
If not why not.
Kedron untested in first two rounds will see where there at next game.
