I think it’s just based on 10 team competition now and not 12 Bucky. Start now 15th April after Easter and only 3 byes instead of 5 from what I have seen.

Yep got all that but still.hearing one more could be short on players.
Hope not two in a year is enough.
2 have gone mate - Ipswich and Moorooka. You would hope everyone else is in reasonable shape.
Haven’t heard anyone else. There was mention of Jindalee but I would think with strong junior base they should be ok.
Gympie only other one that keeps getting mentioned?

Hopefully No one else drops out now.
But what I think it gives the comp a new look.
It's highly unlikely that you will have many games that aren't tough. I'll predict the top four will be known early and whoever gets the bottom two twice will be very lucky. See how my prediction plays out.

Bit harsh mate. Actually thought it was surprising that both Kenmore and Sandgate get Gympie twice and we get them once considering they both finished higher than us.
Maybe with 10 Teams could have adjusted competition to 18 games so everyone plays everyone twice.
Always an in balance when few teams only play each other once.

18 rounds means more work and delays them getting to the finals in Melbourne for their junkets
Agree with only 16 rounds preseason is longer for most clubs

isnt 10 teams perfect. play each other twice. has anyone asked the question why. 16 seems doesnt add up with 10 teams unless im missin something
I asked question and they said to get all competitions done and finished so GF’s don’t clash it needs to be 16 rounds plus costs will be more?

Sounds like a reasonable question. Given they delayed the season an extra 2 games should have been possible. Costs going up any answer on that.

doesnt more games mean more coin for clubs. so more costs for club to qafl for extra games dont make sense.
They should deduct it from the junior fees after completely removing 3 weeks of grading.

Seems there is no communication in regards any major decisions or even the odd Presidents meetings are a thing of the past. Used to be monthly.
Will be disappointing if a team misses finals by a game or percentage because another team had an advantage playing a lessor team and smashed them. Just not good enough considering we are paying $200K as Clubs to manage/run this competition.
Since the introduction of a new State leader the Community Footy has been given less and less
