Are there other alternatives to train at for Plan B. Calamvale would be the closest. How’s the relationship with them, as you guys now have merged some junior teams with them.
Not sure what has changed in 11 years at school as to why they wouldn’t renew our license. We have a few back up plans in place, but my view is why should we have to when we weren’t the ones that furked this all up.

Tom Rockliff to be senior assistant coach at Wynnum! Huge news!

Surely Burleigh or Bond make the move to make it an even 8. Seems bizarre no one wants to go up. Redcliffe well and truly deserve to stay down but I dont know why Sandgate and/or Alex Hills want to hang around when theyve both tasted a premiership
seem like a few clubs will be trying for promotion then in the near future if none go up this year. Kedron are on the record of having a 2/3 year plan to be playing up in Div 1.

Remembering also PF there are 13 teams in the QAFL! Not sure that’s the plan going forward but seriously I have no idea what AFLQs plans are!

There lay the issue NB. If there is a plan it sure hasn’t been made public as far as I know.

Having QAFL with 13 clubs, a small Div 1 comp and then a large Div 2 North comp with a significant difference between top and bottom that doesn’t need to exist IMO suggests that SEQ is in need of some med-long term vision supported by plans/incentives to support clubs move up and down through the divisions.

There is no plan. Ask them for a copy of their strategic plan. It doesn’t exist.
AFLQ strategic plan: Increase fees, decrease service.

Participation numbers are increasing overall masking the substantial cracks in what is being delivered.

2025 fixtures have been released already for most Melbourne metro leagues yet our state league fixture isn’t close. Expect it to come in March/April again.
