Firstly, well done on Moorooka getting their first win in two years. Looks like it was a close game.

Pac Pines are not the team they were last year. However Coorparoo will be the team to beat. Ormeau have made significant steps in a win over Pac Pines and now Collingwood Park.

Caloundra met their match last night in North Shore. North Shore winning by 2 goals or so. Aspley and Moreton Bay look to be in for a long season.

UQ had a comfortable win over rivals Ferny Grove. Sandgate had a massive win over Yeronga. Glasshouse also won comfortably.

A few upsets with Springfield beating Eagles. That’s close to a 200 point turn around from last year. Another upset in last years bottom dwellers coomera beating grand finalist Coolangatta. And Southport winning easily against Labrador.
 
Div 3 North GF rematch between Maroochydore and North Shore at North Shores new facilities. Anyone gone and had a look at their new facilities?

And just out of curiosity. Coorparoo’s div 3 north team has a bye. Their Div 3 south team is playing. Is there any rules about picking blokes from the other team or does it not matter since they are both div 3.
 
Was lucky enough to have a front row seat to a tremendous game last nite.
Ferny v Sandgate was a tight tussle and the skill and speed on some of those lads was first class. Always played in the spirit of the game with a high physical aspect as well.
Everyone belted each other then shook hands and went and had beers with each other and watched the end of the AFL.
It's a perfect example of how footy is supposed to be.

Hopefully Southport have the GPS accurate to get out to Fernvale next week. I heard that last year Cooly played them there and a few of their team rocked up at qtr time

Only 14 games
Shitloads of byes.
Play teams twice before we play a team once.
Only two teams play the weekend before the finals.
But it is what it is and obviously some people know better than us plebs.

The game has been moved to later in the year unfortunately, Some grubs have vandalised the Brisbane Valley Club and stolen the copper from the lighting apparently! Doesn't sound like the most exciting place to be driving to play footy on a Friday night but genuinely feel for them having some knucklehead do that!

It happens regularly. We got hit 5 times in one year. They had to

Interesting he's gone to the Div 3 team.

Did they not want him in the seniors or ressies, or might that affect his ability to presumably play somewhere else next week?
