think clubs potentially getting pushed down, go to D3 instead of D4. Like a nice boobie prize really, cause if they were struggling in D2, they will get slaughtered in D3

You want to potentially add 4 byes to the ressies comp on top of the current couple? So guys wanting to play every week, pay rego are missing 6 weeks of a 14 week season?

Yeah it was only what I was told by a bloke I know quite well. But out if all of them I said Gympie know how to get it done. They are a resilant club.

because relatively speaking, the standard between D2 and D3 is pretty similar and if Moorooka are dropping back - its probably because their better players aren't playing, have left or whatever - so they would be going down to D3 with their leftovers, not their 2022 senior side. As such, they would get pummeled.

D2 reserves standard is horrific, so if they are going with a D2 reserves calibre team, even D4 is a challenge.

That probably suits a lot of blokes Longy? How many Ressies boys play every week.

Time for League to look outside the square. Can’t just keep pushing teams back to Friday Night Footy every time there is an issue with numbers for a second side.

I only ever played ressies but i liked playing every week still ! So thats not the answer .

Why can’t a Saturday team that can’t get 2 teams together play in the ressies comp. I remember Darling downs comp had a system like that for a long time. Keeps teams in Saturday footy if that’s their wishes until they build numbers back and if they happen to pick up a ressies flag they can be promoted regardless of whether they get 2 teams together.
 
Our response was '"we are central, so it doesn't really matter, but we would like to be in the strongest comp which we think will be south"

But on reflection, I think tracel in South comp will be reduced and the Pacific highway is far better than the Bruce!

I've heard today that Ipswich will be joining us on Fridsy nights. Can anyone confirm?

Div 2 getting smaller by the day!
