Qooty Fantasy Draft
Hello every Qooty player.
I am running a Qooty Draft game throughout Season 22. Basically, this will be a FANTASY DRAFT game, where all CAPTAINS will have a team of 8 SFA players, whose DT points throughout SFA S22 will accumulate to give each player a total round score. There will be opportunities to multiply your round scores through a CHALLENGE system, where you compete against another player for DON (double or nothing) OR HOHA (halved or half added). You will also be able to TRADE your players with other Captains, or to DELIST & SIGN available players in the DRAFT POOL.
This is the SIGN-UP thread. I will allow this thread to run for a week to allow as many people as are interested to sign up, then I will start a DRAFT THREAD. The way this will work is that I will randomise the list of Captains who sign up, and run FOUR rounds of a draft of the players who were on SFA lists in S21. The Captains will be given the chance to Draft available players from the Draft Pool, running the Captains list in alternating forward and reverse order. The Draft Pool will consist of all the players who registered at least 1 DT point during S21, plus known rookies. The Draft Thread will run until the Draft is complete. Depending upon how many Captains sign up, each SFA player may only be available once, or I may have to make each player available twice.
So at the end of the Draft, each team list should consist of 5 players – the Captain, and the four players whom they select in the Draft. I will then randomise the remaining players in the draft pool, and randomly assign the last 3 positions on each teams list. If any captain misses their draft opportunity in any round, they will also have these randomly assigned at this point. I will then open a thread called the TEAMS and SCORES thread. This will be the thread in which all current teams are listed, and where the Captains may TRADE a player with another Captain, or may DELIST a player to SIGN another available player from the Draft Pool. This will be also the thread where the WEEKLY SCORES are posted, and a PREMIERSHIP TABLE will be kept when the season gets underway
Just before the beginning of S22, I will then open an ARENA thread, which will remain active throughout the season. This thread will be the Arena where you issue a DON CHALLENGE or a HOHA CHALLENGE to another player. If the opponent accepts, the player who wins the challenge will have their score increased by 100% for a DON CHALLENGE or by 50% for a HOHA CHALLENGE, while the loser either registers a ZERO score for a DON CHALLENGE, or loses 50% of their score for a HOHA CHALLENGE.
To sign up to play, simply like this post. Yes, I am a shameless like whore. Each successive stage will have further information, but it is a simple, fun and interactive game to play. You may participate as much or as little as you wish – if you do not Trade players, your team will remain as selected throughout the season.
IMPORTANT: If you do not sign up to play before 12pm Monday 20/6, you will miss out!
