In the VFL today, Max Hall was one tackle away from a quadruple double which got me wondering if anyone has done it at VFL and would it be easier or harder to get it at the lower level?

tackles yes, 10 marks Might be tough in some of those windy suburban grounds

Think Dylan Clarke fell 1 or 2 tackles short once

If you scroll through the thread we've jinxed and death ridden plenty who have gone close.

Oh, I'm aware. I've engaged in some of the cursing myself.

I clearly didn't phrase it very well. Meant to say I wonder who has got the closest without making any of the requirements. A quadruple single of 9k, 9h, 9m, 9t

Don't preempt anything.

Myself included, this thread should be bumped after games.

Haha I didn't say any names

He's never had 10 tackles in a game though so lets be honest still unlikely. A nice launching pad in the first half though

Sorry I’m late to the party, do points scored count towards the 4D?

For example, two goals by a player netting them 12 points?
Only kicks, handballs, marks, tackles.
