I feel sorry for him.
Yeah, he dived a lot but he also showed good performance and created many moments.
I'm glad that Brazil went to the next round but they do not stand many chances against Germany, especially without Neymar, imo.

Fascinating match. Refereeing was terrible, should have taken control of the match earlier. By the end of it, the number of rash challenges was out of control. SO many fouls were given, it made it a bit frustrating to watch, and yet no cards.

Thiago Silva's yellow was so stupid. Now he misses against Germany, which will be a massive loss for them. Who will take over the captaincy? Luiz?

It was a great game ruined by the referee. Too whistle happy. Blew up at the slightest contact between players. No cards then started dishing them out in the last half hour. How many fouls did Fernandinho make before James Rodriguez got a yellow for one trip?

Got mixed feelings about Neymar. No one wants to see a player get a serious injury, but he squeals like a girl every time he gets touched. It is in the players' interests for the ref to stop play when a player is badly hurt - but if they continue to feign injury you can't blame the ref if he doesn't allow a medic to attend to a player immediately.
