Where would he realistically go though.

Dont reckon Arsenal have the money, Liverpool certainly dont. Even though he's a United fan, that's a massive step backwards as they are awful. It leaves just back to Manchester City.

The only two other possibilities for him would be Bayern and Real Madrid. Dont reckon Madrid move for him, they are stacked. Maybe Bayern could make a move.

They could have but I doubt we'd sell or Palmer will want to leave. That's just my opinion.

Musiala and Olise already playing where he plays there too.
I think you'd definitely sell palmer for the right price. I don't think Chelsea give a shit how good he is if they can flip him for $100 million profit they'll do it especially with the amount of money outlayed already

Fair enough mate, I think you're wrong but that's cool.

Like we do, but not ones we cant improve on.

They'd be dozens of players we could sell first haha.
Yeah that's what I meant, you could flip so many players for coin before thinking about having to move Palmer.

I think this is a weird discussion. I get the talk if he was at Palace or Wolves or something, looking for a step up. He's already at the biggest club in London.

The discussion feels more like copium for a few opposition supporters. Palmer is the jewel in our crown and the side is and will be built around him.

Reckon we'll just sell some of the 500 other players we sign
Probably. But palmer signing for 40 means you can claim quite alot of profit on him and I'm not saying any fans or coaches will want it, but considering his many academy guys have already been sold I just wouldn't surprised if your ownership saw the $ and took it.

oh ok

I don’t think they sell but it will be interesting to see how the owners handle things if any buyers did come asking. Private equity firms generally aren’t buying football clubs to win trophies, it’s to make money.

They seem to have a pretty clear plan now to buy young players on long term deals to maximise the profit when selling. Palmer would be the perfect execution of that but would have to ride out some serious blowback from the fans to sell him.

Had nothing to do with Foden. He wanted to go, and if someone wants to leave and we get a decent deal we'll try and accommodate.

It's been a great move for him and Chelsea.

If he does leave Chelsea, I suspect it will be to Man United. Boyhood fan.

If it were United it would be when his Chelsea deal expires in 2034 for one last payday.
