Head up Dave.
You know there is actual scientific evidence that "positive attitude" actually makes things happen...unlike prayer....which actually has the reverse effect.....oddly.

Pies will win this by 31 points. We announce ourselves to the non believers tomorrow...
Pies 2018

Been watching the footy shows over the last month and not only do we NEVER get Collingwood guests on them, none of them say a single word about us (outside 30 secs on Footy Classified last week).

Now, Buckley is on tomorrow night - which I'm taking as a bad sign. We'll probably lose.

But if we do win, I doubt we'll be able to stay out of the media much.

Fascinating! got any links to said "scientific evidence"?

Hedging your bets?
IF we win I'll do the nudey run round the backyard....over 50 points and I'll post the run...you poor bastards....and "lucky ladies"..;)
I'm tipping the Pies by 5 points in a frustrating game.

is it whacked out gutfeel nutjob theory night around here or something?

Haha. I don't think a single person hates the kid.
I thought the “hate” word was too strong.

Appelby is very unlucky. But he’s not yet demanding auto inclusion.

Howe certainly does. He must play, so if it’s Appelby making way, that’s unfortunate for Apples, but not unfair for the team.

With Being So Bad for 4-5 Seasons there is a Reason for it
4 seasons actually.

The 5th season before we made finals.

Melbourne isn’t exactly a power play club either.

Stuff them, the day I start fearing those Range Rover skiers is the day I pack it in.

Re-read my post.

We've been winning and we've barely been the media. Now that Bucks will be on one of the footy shows is probably the one week we'll lose.

The post I was replying to was talking about non-believers. For me, that's been the media. Which links back to what I just said. So I'm saying that IF we win, I doubt we'll be kept out of the media much anymore like we have been.

If we lose, I expect the status quo to remain, which is barely a word about us being uttered.

If I was tipping, I'd still tip Melbourne purely based on how they're winning more so than anything.

Their actual win/loss eerily almost matches ours. We've both beaten and lost to basically the same teams. It's just their wins have been more convincing and they don't really have any injuries.

Big match. We need a scalp and Monday would be the perfect time to confirm we are in the finals race this year. With only one win in five games against the top 11 teams, these are the teams that will fill the top 8 come season end, we need to build some wins that are not against the minnows.

This would be the perfect match to do it.

Hey GC, on this post can I ask your opinion of the available list we have? Do you think there is more improvement in it? I know your general thought that it is not a finals worthy side - yet. It still is building and you're taking into considerations team continuity, lineal vs fluctuating form and off field affects etc.

Well that's my summation of your view. I'm just curious to know if you believe we can knock off such a form team and beyond, given your previous opinions.

You know my view, if this available list is managed correctly it could shape September - not win it but have influence. If the dees are half a percent off and we're on we can win tomorrow.

I noticed same thing on 360 the last few week. Not a word on Monday night's.

I know you're a true believer....hence the question mark.:D:D

Off to the religion thread with you..................100 years of data over there.
If you're too lazy for that....google is your friend.

On ya cobber. :thumbsu:
Slabs away.
Stack a Pork Belly on that...
And a Chocolate pudding...............:D
If we lose I won't be hungry.
Shattered but full.

Have a good feeling about tomorrow. I think our midfield will wallop theirs. This game finally means something to us and I think we’ll play accordingly. I think pendles, treloard, Phillips, wells and degoaley will run riot tomorrow...

Grundy will also show us who the premier big man really is.
