Good sleuthing. It's a 1999 based on the Vodafone logo alone.

I then got a hold of the '99 team list from a footy record from that year. Thinking it might be some spud I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was Toby Thurstans. Obviously he changed his number before he played a game.

That looks like someone mocked up a jumper after vaguely seeing it once and just guessing what the sponsor was.

Collar on that jumper looks near on exactly like our 2015-17 template, so I wouldn't be stressing just yet.

Green looks way too close to the Bingle box to be legit, surely?

GMHBA is Geelong Medical and Hospital Benefits Association. I think they are given exclusivity.

Prototypes they use for sponsor announcements aren't always the same as the final product.

Thank God the sash was lowered for Essendon but in St. Kilda's case the prototype ended up being a lot nicer than the end product.

Two completely different companies, although NIB did try to takeover GMHBA a few years back. NIB is based in Newcastle I think.
