Questions for KT

Apparently KT is going to give a talk at the Royal Exhibition Hotel here in Sydney before the GWS game tomorrow. It will be a small intimate crowd of about 50 people.

I have a few loaded questions I'm going to fire at him but can anyone else think of a few questions that they would like to have asked? Don't feel shy as I'll let loose with both barrels.

Howdy D, unfortunately I think any questions asked will be met with a straight bat with answers like:- we're looking into that, there's something in the works but I can't elaborate at this point in time, we've made improvement, we fully support Matty but understand that he needs more good people around him, we've had a bad run with injuries, keep the faith, next year we'll hit the ground running.............................

That's the key one. Why should I spend my money being a member of Port Adelaide FC next season? Why should I give my money to the SANFL? Why should I waste my weekend watching crap?

(please note I will be buying a membership, I would just like a good reason to ).

Be a little clever with your questions. For instance, if you ask him will Boak, Chaplin, Jacobs and Pearce resign, he will say, "we are very confident all will". Instead, just ask him to rank the 4 from most likely down.

KT is a professional say nothing sort of guy particularly when SANFL are his sponsor

KT- how often do you meet with Whicker and do you realize who you work for?
KT- what is our club culture? Maybe try and connect with some Port connections at some point?
KT- is Whickers role the one you are aiming for?
KT- How is the Rucci review going?

KT, I understand you have walked into a difficult situation, however you accepted the job and are being paid by members amongst other people.
Can YOU please tell us what YOU are doing to turn the club around?

KT, can YOU please tell us what YOU believe is the main problem with our playing style/ structure and why it has been so unsuccessful

KT, I understand the board has the option to extend MPs contract. As we have so clearly gone horribly backwards in the 3 seasons he has been head coach, on what possible basis can YOU see that his contract could conceviably be extended?

KT, this is a privatre setting of PA faithful. I assume we are under Chatham house rules in here. Can you please tell us what you understand our game plan is?

You need to put HIM under the spotlight. Everything else he can fob off

What have YOU done to improve the financial position of the club?
Why were there 14,500 at the last game and our crowds are deterioriating. What will YOU do in response to this?
How often do you ask MP to come in and explain why his plan isn't working?

What is 99% sure it happen is that he will fob your answer off with a glib comment.

THIS is where your question actually comes into play. What you asked before were just the straw man

After you are fobbed off, before anyone else gets in (and they will try to get away from you to the next friendly quesion) you HAVE to get in with "sorry, your reply of "working on that, trying harder, looking into that, will have a review" is not an answer. We aren't the media or Joe public and we've been here for 5 years. We here are the faithful Keith. That non answer betrays yourself to be inept at your role because you can't demonstrate that you have a clue what you are doing or what you need to do to direct this club"

He will then say (because he has been trained and seen it done so thinks he can get away with it) "well, the great thing about clubs is all members get an opportunity to have their say".

THIS is the money shot and this is where your reply HAS to be (unless he actually addresses your questions) "Well actually Keith, the great thing about forums like this is that CE's who are out of their depth are publically exposed as such, and your performance here is an off field replica of the teams on-field performance. We fail to announce any contract signings besides South-Australian-to-the-bone fait accompli's like Broadbent and Hartlett.
We have seen a non-sensical approach all year in regards to selection whether it be picking a ruck set up based on what we predict the opposition might do or selecting a bunch of plodders in the same team instead of exposing youth.
The less said about our skills and lack of game plan the better.

I think the answer everyone is looking for is why should we renew our memberships next year?
