Its hard to care tbh. I guess what we all want to know, is what will happen off-field next season that is different to this one. How are we going to develop the PAFC back to a premiership threat?

Be that extra skills sessions, tactics, new coaching staff, more fitness and recovery staff. A lot has to change for us to even be contending for mid-table right at this point in time

TP's post makes me think that a question for the members' info night: Considering the well publicised impact that Football Dept spend has on a club's success, how does the club measure the success or otherwise of the Football Dept, each function within the Football Dept, and the performance of its staff each year?

Had a chat to D_One. His opening question was if KT would have a post game celebration like Norwood did when they beat Footscray in 1983. He can tell you the rest but KT was a bit shocked by it and said he knew too much info. He then asked away on a few of the harder ones. I will let him fill you in. But after that effort and a house warming tomorrow he might not be able to reply until he has recovered and it's next week.

I asked him about the lack of development in our players and how we have become a graveyard for promising kids, he disagreed with me about the graveyard bit and said we have been under resourced in this area but had addressed that and we would see improvement soon.

I made a comment about the media and particularly about the ****ing morons on 5AA which he agreed with.

I asked him if and when we would have control of our own licence and are we planning for this to which he replied yes, soon and definitely yes.

He remembered us from Adelaide Oval and the headlock. According to him I told him he had to choose between us and his friend of over 30 years Phil Gallagher, luckily for him he chose us. Don't remember that bit....

There were a few more questions from D_One and some other bloke asking about buses but I have tried to block today out with alcohol so might recall it all better tomorrow.

How you can see first hand all the shit that is reported on here - Poor on the training track, a coach who cannot coach, shithouse selection, etc. and still say things like that. He wants to give Primus another year too.

Whoever our first round pick is, I feel so, so sorry for the young man. Dont blame yourself kid, its not your fault. You will only have to stay for the minimum 2 seasons then you can leave to start your AFL journey.
