Theyre still there. Theyre just hidden inside the three dot menu in the text box you type in.

See above ....once you click on one, it shows at the bottom of the post youre typing, hard to see, can make you think it hasnt been selected. You have to close the smilie box and youll see it there in the text box youre still composing

Mmm still can't select one it's like the buttons are frozen. Same with the gif button previously when I clicked it the search text box came up and nothing now. Thanks for trying to help though as you can probably guess I am pretty ordinary technology wise!

Do any of the buttons work? You might be in BB code mode... click the square brackets on the right (next to the floppy disc) to go back to rich text mode.

Like Lore said ...see that [ ] icon? Make sure its not selected. If selected it freezes all the other icons out. When unselected, it should appear like the screen cap above
