R.Harvey V Ben Cousins Argument

Hey all, I remember these two in a match in perth I think around 05,06.

After the match finished, Harvey went over to Cousins and was basically going off at him, I thought this was a pretty rare thing to happen at the time, I've never seen an AFL player go off at someone like that AFTER the game has finished.
Especially someone like Harvey, does anyone remember this happening? Anyone!
I wanna know what it's all about!

fairly sure it was scarlett, being the shit bloke he is it wouldn't surprise me.

Trust me it was cousins, I was watching it on TV.
It was in Perth, St. Kilda vs West Coast, after the game had finished, Harvey went over to Cousins and had a long word to him, he was angry, the cameras moved over to it but the commentators didn't speak of it.

ps: and I recall scarlett and harvey having words, but this was a completely different scenario here.

I remember the incident too - a couple of years before the Scarlett one, which I'm pretty sure occurred in the 2008 Finals.

That was about Rnd 21 at the Dome - we were leading, cousins over ran us in the second half, it knocked us out of finals contention. 2007 season.

Attard was tagging Cuz in the first half from memory then went down with a bad injury, perhaps his last. Jason Blake went onto Cuz but basically couldn't keep up. Cuz was running up and down the length of the Dome like a madman. We simply couldn't stay with him. He was flying.

Everybody is getting different games mixed up.

The incident that the op is talking about is from round 1 2006. Ben Cousins and Robert Harvey were pretty much playing against each other and they essentially broke even with 27 possies a piece, from memory I thought Harvey got the better of him but that is most likely bias. Apparently there was some sledging going on all through the game, at the end of the match Cousins refused to shake Harvey's hand and then Harvey had something to say about it.

The West Coast game where he dominated against us in the second half was round 21? 2007, if we won the game we would've snuck into the finals. Attard was tagging Cousins out of the game until he did his knee. Cousins then annihilated us in the second half to end our season.

The Geelong incident was in 2008 in the first week of finals. Harvey and Bartel were getting into each other until the Geelong players felt that Harvey crossed the line, it has never been established what was said by Harvey. It has been reported that Scarlett said Harvey was going to finish his career how he deserved, in a wheelchair and without a premiership. Although it ha never been known for sure what was said.
