only just found this thread, i remember when i first heard the news, at first i thought it was some stunt by the wwe but then i saw the actual story.

R.I.P Eddie Guerrero, Viva La Raza

Will be an awesome show up there tonight, one of the greatest main events ever.

Eddie V Beniot.

R.I.P you were both taken too soon.

and Lord Alfred Hayes :)
The days of Todd Pettingill and Sean Mooney doing backstage interviews, always thought Todd had beaver teeth.

I had a watch of an old ECW video the other day watching Eddie Guerrero vs Dean Malenko for the ECW TV Title. Didn't mind Eddie's work with DDP, reminds me to watch their battle for the "WCW Battlebowl Ring"

Won't happen because Benoit will be rotting in hell.

when i posted this i was still believing beniot had been murdered.

ALSO

i am expecting to get flamed, ridiculed and attacked for this:

I am not an extremely religous person, (i did go to catholic schools so i have the idea), i remeber being taught that if you let God into your heart before you die and see your sins as wrong you are forgiven, we may not be able to forgive beiot but hopefully the almighty power can.

Like i said i am expecting to be flamed for that last part but beniot was a hero to many expecially me and it will be very hard to stop seeing him as a hero straight away.

No flaming coming from here! Thats the way i was taught (its still no excuse for committing the act in the first place) and in this case, Chris has seemingly done this.

From "the almighty power" as you put it... He is Forgiven,

but by the world (His greatest fans included) this will NEVER be forgotten

thats it mate he cant be forciven by us but hopefully he is at peace now.

He dosen't deserve to go to heaven or whatever, and If god let him into heaven then every other murderer deserves a free pass.

What is your stance on the widely public view, that if a Person on Death Row, turns to god before the penalty is put in action, then he is forgiven IN the eyes of god (the eyes of the public is obviously going to be different in many occasions)

Can we all please keep this thread about Eddie.

I still miss watching Eddie and I watch replays of his matches just to remind me of how good a wrestler he was. I still smile at his in-ring antics.

His biography was a good read and gave some more insight into his successes and failings.

The last four years of his life was the final journey that allowed him to exorcise his demons and turn his life around.

Viva Latino Heat.

I recently watched the Eddie Guerrero Story again, I also watched his match with Dean Malenko from ECW for the ECW TV Belt and their final meeting before leaving for WCW. I enjoyed his matches against Rey, and against Diamond Dallas Page.

Words cannot express the loss of Eddie, and the sad loss of Art Barr that was of course well over a decade ago but still sad nonetheless.

That's true, but I haven't heard anything about Benoit being a religious person.. Also I doubt he was thinking about God at that time.. The man was either in a state of intense rage, was drugf**d, or was majorly depressed and in shock over what he did
