Oh please. Stop being idiotic. I couldn't think of a time I've ever seen a white sportsmen have a banana thrown at them.I don't like bananas so I'm not the right person to ask.
That said I've taken food to the football and it's been uneaten when I leave.
She was an idiot and should be sanctioned for it, we can't allow projectiles of any kind to be thrown at personnel on the field, player or otherwise.
There's just nothing in that clip which shows racism other than the preconceived stigma/perception surrounding indigenous people and monkeys which are associated with bananas.
Mate, throwing a banana at a black person is as blatantly racist as can be. It doesn't happen to white sports players.ok she probably is a racist
but we got to stop thinking being called an Ape, Gorilla, Monkey is racist because on the insides we all got a bit of Harambe in us
Besides Eddie betts name one more indigenous player it has happened toOh please. Stop being idiotic. I couldn't think of a time I've ever seen a white sportsmen have a banana thrown at them.
This women is racist filth, plain and simple.

Giving the benefit of the doubt to a grown women who is feral and petty enough to throw an object onto the field in the first place is pretty ridiculous.
What a garbage argument. Totally besides the point. It's incredibly rare in this country thankfully, but has happened a fair bit in soccer overseas, and it's always racist piece of shit fans throwing bananas at black people.Besides Eddie betts name one more indigenous player it has happened to

Keep reading pal. I asked for more info and got it. Racist.Oh please. Stop being idiotic. I couldn't think of a time I've ever seen a white sportsmen have a banana thrown at them.

You're doing it wrong if you're giving the benefit of the doubt to feral sorts like the women in the video.Keep readin pal. I asked for more I of and got it. Racist.
Deleted my post before you replied after seeing the "monkey" allegation above, but since you've quoted it... go ahead and enlighten me re Aboriginal banana traditions.
I sure do miss him man RIP ya legendrip in peace xoxo
It's nothing to do with indigenous Australians specifically. It's just something that racist pieces of shit do around the world to black players from time to time, implying that they're monkeys.Deleted my post before you replied after seeing the "monkey" allegation above, but since you've quoted it... go ahead and enlighten me re Aboriginal banana traditions.
I want to agree with you, but I dont think so.I don't think they are serious, just baiting for an argument.
No. The act of throwing projectiles is not a racist action by itself, banana or otherwise. You're doing it wrong if you're giving the benefit of the doubt to feral sorts like the women in the video.
Clearly one of those people who always tries to claim racism isn't involved. Throwing a banana is as blatant as it comes. Would have to be an incredible coincidence.
Wasn't as though she was off her face, out of control and just started flinging whatever she could find. Far more calculated then that.
Next you'll start ranting about political correctness.
So you're telling me if she didn't say to the spectator he was a monkey, she's merely just a immature idiot throwing something at a player? No. The act of throwing projectiles is not a racist action by itself, banana or otherwise.
Maybe I just have a higher requirement for proof before labelling someone is all.
In the providing of that evidence I agree. Racist.
Yes. I've seen Coke bottles thrown at players at local football. That's no racist. Just a bellendSo you're telling me if she didn't say to the spectator he was a monkey, she's merely just a immature idiot throwing something at a player?
Laughable.
Yeah that's your typical stuff that you see thrown at people. Exactly my point. Can't ever recall a banana being tossed over the fence at any level of footy, and the fact that Betts is black doesn't help her cause at all.Yes. I've seen Coke bottles thrown at players at local football. That's no racist. Just a bellend
Just like if I punch a person I'm a thug, if I punch them and yell racist comments at them whilst doing so then I'm a racist.
Anyway, no point continuing to argue semantics, secondary evidence adds weight to the OP's claim. No point continuing to argue at this point.

No different to Indians making monkey gestures to Andrew Symonds years ago. Racist.
There's no history of a particular group of people being targeted by coke bottles, nor any items that imply they're primates. That's a terrible example.Yes. I've seen Coke bottles thrown at players at local football. That's no racist.
