Yeah that's your typical stuff that you see thrown at people. Exactly my point. Can't ever recall a banana being tossed over the fence at any level of footy, and the fact that Betts is black doesn't help her cause at all.

Without any kind of secondary evidence, she's still a racist piece of shit.

There's no excuse for not understanding the connotation in the wake of the Goodes thing, but I'll wait for other details to be confirmed. I find it hard to take the claim that it was "clearly planned" seriously - Betts kicking the sealer with a minute to go and grandstanding on the boundary in front of her. Perhaps the Facebook poster held a season-long grudge due to the alleged language.

Bob Skilton was widely known as "The Chimp". Not a slur as such, but I'm pretty sure it came about because of a supposed resemblance to a monkey. Happy to stand corrected.

I recall Jacko having all sorts of things thrown at him. Unless I'm mistaken I believe someone once threw a can of beer at him which landed near his feet, he then picked it up took a sip and threw it back.

Seriously though, it's fairly obvious what the intent is here. Just be certain that the above person is the culprit and let the police and AFL deal with it. Booing is one thing but this is not on.

If she was always intending on throwing it only at Betts, ie no interest in Cameron, that was the only time he was in that area for a long enough period of time. Planned and intentional, but still required opportunity, which didn't come until then.
