I think I may have been in Aisle 9 actually, somewhere near there. Didn't pay that much attention, I just went into the members are found a good spot. Sort of near long leg/third man
Yeah, that's where we were. Like a few metres from long on/third man

How about those kids tryna start a Mexican Wave every second ball. Then when they failed after the 10th attempt their dad had to step in to get it started and it did about 4 laps around the ground :drunk: good times

Yeah it's a good spot, good view of the batter and the bowler, and plenty of action happened right near us too (some boundaries and a few catches)

Yeah I was just across from them, like only 3-4 metres away and up a little in the next bay. Those kids were trying so hard and then their Dad comes in with a huge voice and starts screaming to count down. He did a good job of it too, everyone really got involved (and it helped that everyone was in a good mode because we were going to win)

Fizzler and I were 2 rows back from 2 dropped crowd catches. Also there was a bloke with red hair in front of us who just kept getting camera time.

Were you the ones that dropped them? Didn't have any sixes come into my bay, they were further around. Did you catch one of those KFC t-shirts?

If you saw two blokes carrying Hungry Jack's down the aisle just before the 2nd innings started, that was us lol

Yeah they fell like 2 rows in front of us and were dropped. Fizzler and I were getting food when the shirts went into the crowd. Regardless I'm a vego so wearing one of those shirts in high in my list of things to do in life.

Absolutely. Pretty soon we'll have a generation of kids who have grown up with BBL being their main source of summer cricket viewing, and I fear it will be seen as the pinnacle of the sport in this country.
I too fear for this day. Though I'd like to think that BBL will introduce a lot of these kids to Test/ODI as well?

On a separate note, have been thinking for a while whether or not to change my BF name as it's pretty similar to my real life name.
Though I'm concerned whether posts made by "caloschwaby" will still link to this account after I change my name?
Petition for your new name to be 'GrandPie' in honour of the last poster to use their real name on their account?

Don't mind it at all! 10 signatures and I'll consider it ;)
I have an online alias "Calorean" that I mainly use for gaming (a play of words on "DeLorean") so I thought of that as a suitable replacement.
Though I wouldn't mind something in my name indicating the team I go for ;)

I'm going to make a point by not liking your post :p
I don't mind if the name doesn't match, but if somebody were to click onto the name would it link to this account?

It would pop-up saying your new name, much like Tigerland55 and a current poster's new name does.

We'll talk in the group chat about as to not clog up the important and ground-breaking discussions made in this thread :)
Well how about you add me to it?
