I actually did a Cyber security course a few weeks ago and this tool was shared in the training. Very interesting to see where your email has been compromised.

We’re going to get a gov issued single digital id because of this ain’t we.

They’re only asking for 1.5m, that’s essentially pocket change for the amount of damaged caused.
They could be asking for ten times that

As they say... 2 types of companies (or people)... those that have been hacked and those that don't know they've been hacked.

Nothing is 100% secure.

Use an alternative email for correspondence compared to user names/logins
Turn on MFA every time you can and use authenticator apps over SMS.
Use different passwords. Never use the same one! Painful I know but less so than you losing access to everything.
Ensure they are complex.

For Optus customers much easier to change that one password than every other account password you have. It is a race against time and hackers thrive on your complacency.

Excellent advice.

Yep.

Also get a decent security suite on your device. Bitdefender have a dark web monitor as a feature as do Nord VPN. Compromised accounts are highlighted, so can be repaired easily.

Is anyone else having issues looking BigFooty with with their internet browser on their phone? I just installed Tapatalk because it was hard to read. I’m wondering though if I accidentally changed the settings.

Thanks Val 👍🏻 is that what you use to go on the dark web lol

Nah I’m to scared to go on there. Too much messed up stuff. You need an onion browser to get into that.

DuckDuckGo just doesn’t save your history or something, but it still uses Google as their search engine so I guess your data is being collected.

I use DuckDuckGo and ExpressVPN to stream shows or movies.
