He's a real tough talker in monologues after court days and on Truth Social, but he rarely engages in one-on-ones because he knows he can't control the message. There is no way he bullied Biden last time, and I can't think of a time since that he has had a debate. It's all been only him talking (tough ... which is cowardly in itself).

Biden would last a couple of hours at least as well as Trump, but it would be embarrassing for both as their decline would become evident. But in case you haven't been watching, Trump's decline has been far more pronounced in recent months.

Yeah, two terrible candidates. An observation that is correct and widely accepted. This is why it's not hilarious, and labelling Trump "outrageous and ridiculous" only lists two of his minor character flaws and almost suggests a sneaky affection for a person who is one of the world's most objectionable campaigners.

He destroyed Hillary in the debates by bullying her, and every other politician he has debated.

And you know Biden is just as corrupt as trump yeah? I mean they’re just two sides of the same coin.

I went to the gp for the billionth time for pre employment checks and bc it’s a public holiday today I went as I can’t go any other time due to me working full time.

Anyways I needed just a little report as I suffer from migraines and the doctor refuses to because he wasn’t the doctor I saw before.

I understand if I went regularly to a GP for the migraines but I don’t…. I haven’t been to a GP about my migraines since 2020 because my medication is over the counter now.

It’s like how lazy can you be to not ask me a few questions which will result in literally 2 sentences. And I literally brought a printout of the dot points from the medical unit that he needs to ask about. lol I started crying in the doctors office because I was just so over this shit.

I paid $72 today only to get rejected and isn’t covered by Medicare because it’s pre employment.

In addition, I have to wait 6-8 weeks for my clinical health record because apparently I have to submit a form for them to just print them off

I did exactly that recently. Had scans on a potential break, needed to show a specialist therapist. The GP I saw to get the scans referral (not my usual) said the radiology place hadn't sent them when I booked an appointment (I called them and they said they had). Another $70 odd down the drain. Then he went on leave, I needed to get the results to the rehab specialist ASAP. They refused to release the scans to me because "our policy is to have a GP read them first", but they can book me in with another GP that day for nothing.

As the appointment starts they then say it'll be another $70 for him to read and release the scans. Just walked out and got them straight from the radiology place instead.

slowly recovering from covid and was able to venture out of bed today, baby steps as i still feel pretty crap but a hell of a lot better than the other day and not as stir crazy as looking at the bedroom walls.

thought i would use the time to get a bit of progress on the network link from the barn to the header tank so i can install a camera and some I/O for tank level etc,

so today i set up in the barn 2 moxa radios with directional antennas and then configured the remote I/O board and the web cam, took a bit of fiddling round but everything is now talking on the network, the big test will be when i set up a bigger solar panel and higher Ah battery at the tank to run the camera and access point and see if the directional antennas range will sustain the video feed.

still isolating from the wife due to still being symptomatic so the barn was as good a place as any to be was 14 deg so had me big freeze beanie on check.

We don’t really need a 7 seater as we use the extra Seats in our current car almost never but she’s adamant we do. Ugh.

I’ve been looking at the Kia sorento but holy **** they are expensive. Has anyone got anything else or any thoughts?

I haven't heard anything better than the Kia's for a 7 seater, sorry mate.

I think there's a Hyundai that also does it but haven't heard great things about it.

Yeah pretty much what I’m hearing too.
Which is fine. There are cheaper options but the 3rd row seats are just too small in a lot of them.
