Just got some upsetting news, one of my good friends, who is also a mad Blue Bagger, went to The Doctor's last week, and told me tonight he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's. He is only 47 years old too. We are having bit of a chin wag with the boys tonight, and I am trying not to act too down/feel sorry for him, but geez my heart has sunk and although we never hug (We are too macho/manly for it) I really want to give him one.

It's a big shock to me, Dougie is one of the toughest and strongest guys I know, it's a cliche but I never expect someone like him to get struck down with such an awful disease..

Yeah, it's a tough night. Just don't want to lose my ****, and try act any differently around him, oh man, j just wish could do something to get him free of it, just feeling really low right now 😥😥😥

This is a new low for even a Murdoch own News Corpse media outlet..

Really hope Spud's family don't read this piece of crap article. Sorry for my profanity, but the heading and text of this article is total bullshit and clearly misses the entire point of the message and purpose of the ad, and tries to cash in on a inappropriately ghoulish element of Danny's awful passing..

This is just a vent.

I feel overwhelmed at the moment. I’ve got some heath issues and two houses to sell (with my wife’s help). Life two months ago was so much easier. I was unaware of any health issues and I only had one house to sell (with my wife’s help). Preparing our house for sale with a lifetime of accumulated stuff was tough enough. We then had the misfortune of our brother in law passing in late August. I’m the executor of his will and have another house to sell with a lifetime of accumulated stuff as well.

Where do you start?

Fortunately we renovated our house to within an inch of its life. Reno wise we’ve got very little to do. It’s the tidying up that’s discouraging me. Where did all this stuff come from. Am I a closet hoarder? Get it. :p

The other house is more problematic. My sister and her husband lived there for over two decades and we’ve lost both in just over two years. It needs painting, new carpets and other improvements. The house has a small mortgage and I thought I’d approach the bank to see if it would loan me less than 4% of its assessed value. That’s a drop in the ocean. The bank advised me that it would consider loaning me this small amount but I’d have to set up a testamentary trust first.

Back to the drawing board.

I could max out the credit cards. I could go cap in hand to a loan shark. All reasonable options.

So for those of you who bothered to read this. Thank you.

I’ll sort this out.

I disagree... there was AFL 99 on the PS1 which was fantastic for its time haha
Was a N64 boy myself, so never got a hold of that one.

They'd be better of doing an extremely niche 'player management' AFL game, and doing it that way. AFL's to chaotic a sport to really be able to convey it on a console, and there isn't the appetite here that there is for NBA or FIFA, but then I'm not into those games either. Loved me some Cricket 2004, though.

I would love some kind of AFL manager game! I still enjoy the AFL games even though they aren't fantastic.
Don't mind the cricket games either but FIFA is still my favorite sports game overall.

I’d definitely love to play MAD Tony Cochrane in an AFL Manager game.

You know that moment in a Stephen King novel/movie where everything goes a little too quiet right before the whole town starts losing their minds?

That's what it feels like in here right now....
Or a Quentin Tarantino movie....that ending in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood can our of NOWHERE
