After Geelong (of course). Change the scale if/how you wish.

Happy (enough):

Swans, Dogs

I like both clubs and Sydney in particular really deserve one after all their near misses. Bevo sticking it up to his haters would be a great story too (Corn in particular).

Somewhat Happy:

Dockers, Giants, Power

Soft spot for the first 2, and it would be a great story for either to win their first, particularly the Dockers after 30 years. Power cause of the Kenny factor, and the same reason as Bevo really.

Meh:

Saints

Slight sympathy factor, but just don't like them very much (nor many of their supporters really). Is it just me, or has everyone involved been getting rather sooky in recent times?

Somewhat Unhappy:

Lions, Pies

Mostly because they have both won 1 so recently and if we can't win it, I like it being shared around. Having said that, I don't hate either of them, and it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Unhappy:

Blues

Have always disliked them and many of their supporters (despite that most have been quiet for a long time now). Plus, my strong belief that brown paper bags were involved in 1995 has forever left a sour taste in my mouth.

Hell on earth:

Hawks

They have obviously caused us more pain than any other club. Feels like they have come out of nowhere and jumped the queue a bit, and if they manage to pull off another one it will be very tough to bear. If it's against us again, then it really would be hell.

Non Premiership contenders (IMO): Crows, Bombers, Suns, Demons, Roos, Tigers, Eagles,

I'd be somewhat happy for the Dockers to do it just given they absolutely can and haven't before. Happy for Hinkley to stick it right up 'em and win one even if i have to put up with the locals.

I'll add a category too "i ain't even mad, I'm impressed" for Crows and suns. I had bombers in here too but while I would still be impressed i would also be mad.

Hawthorn kill it with fire. Carlton and Collingwood if would also have a strong aversion to seeing win.

Don't have a dislike for any clubs, just a few Tiger trolls who I'd rather them follow soccer or rugby.... so in answer to your question, I'd have my list in order of lack of flag success. So yeah, Dockers with no flags in 30 years would be equal number one with the Saints who joined VFL in 1897 and 'wow' that's a long time for only one flag and also, the Saints are the best side I've seen not win a flag back in 2009 against the mighty Cats and if there was ever a player that bled for his club and deserved a flag then that guy would be Nick Riewoldt.

Any non Victorian team winning would be irrelevant in my mind.

Of the Victorian teams the Dogs and North would be fine.

Saints and Dees wouldn't be too bad but their fans tend to annoy me (remember the Saints lauding it over us in 2004-05 based on draft picks?).

Richmond and Essendon would be yuck though not much chance of that. Collingwood would be really bad but I guess we've dealt with that recently sorry.

Carlton would be horrendous given their fans. And Hawthorn would be an unspeakable catastrophe.

I used to loathe St Kilda but that was more back in the Stephen Milne days. I don't have anything against them now really
I've got a soft spot cos I grew up near Moorabbin ground and went there a lot. Lyon is a put off though, and his game style is even worse.

If Geelong can't win it, you want to feel like nobody's won it. Easiest way is to just get an interstate side to win it.

Through no fault of their own passion, it's all a bit out of sight, out of mind for the rest of us.

Divvy it up from there I guess. Freo for their first flag, or Port for the lols would be top of the list for mine.

If not us I can live with a Saints Flag - my wife is a long suffering Saints fan who is too young to remember 1966.
Whilst she knows more Cats than Saints players and has celebrated our success ( except for 09 ;) ) I'm sure a Saints Flag would be a huge thrill.

Also , because I'm a cruel bastard , wouldn't mind a Dockers Flag - would be worth the lol's to see the WC Chardonnay sippers lose their shit ......

Oh yeah for sure I'd be happy for the Saints.

I even felt so sorry for the Melbourne fans when they won it and they couldn't celebrate properly like they should have been able to.

Going by your scale, this is how I'd have it:

Happy (enough):

Fremantle
GWS

Somewhat Happy:

Adelaide
Essendon
Carlton
Port

Meh:

St Kilda
Bulldogs

Somewhat Unhappy:

Sydney
Gold Coast
West Coast
Melbourne
North Melbourne

Unhappy:

Collingwood
Brisbane

Hell on earth:

Richmond
Hawthorn

Heaven on earth - Geelong

VICBIAS - Pies, Bombers, Dees, North, Dogs

Inoffensive interstate teams - Sydney, GWS, Brisbane, Suns, Crows, Eagles

**** you for employing Ross Lyon - St. Kilda, Fremantle.

I really don't mind you winning but falling just short as it'd irritate Port fans all summer would be just too hilarious - Port Adelaide.

Hand back '95 Cup, cheatbaggers - Carlton

Self explanatory - Hawthorn "The Destroying Families Club"

Never ever again - Richmond and its horde of cooker lunatics.

I'm dirty no matter what team wins it if it's not us.

I would be a bit dirtier if it was Tigers, Hawks or Saints.
Seems to be quite a common theme with Cats fans regarding the Tigers & Hawks, and I feel the same. They are probably my 2 most hated clubs.

For me, it's more the lack of respect that these supporter groups have for our club than the fact that they have beaten us in Grand Finals.

Only way to shut them up is to beat them when it really counts for once.

One can dream..
