How can Ess and Carl have a different score? both established in 1897, both won 16 premierships, played the same years and won the same amount of premierships??? back to the calculator

Brisbane still have'nt boiled that egg even after your alterations

And anyone that remembers Fitzroy for the last 50 years of their life will have to be careful not to crack a rib from laughter at seeing them on top
And even though we haven't 'boiled an egg', we have still won more premierships that the Swans. No wonder you are bitter.

essendon missed a couple of years in 1916-7 due to the war!!

There were only 4 teams one year during the 2nd world war, Fitzroy ended up on the bottom of the ladder and won the premiership from 4th :p

Just how many of their flags have an asterix???

I could find an asterix next to most flags, it just really isn't important. Just enjoy it when you win.

Here's the only one that matters

Teams that have headed the premiership table

Collingwood 55 years
Fitzroy 31 years
Carlton 25 years
Essendon 19 years
reckon that this table is much preferable as it is years that the club has individually held the premiership record

collingwood 51
fitzroy 25
carlton 14
essendon 1

Carlton and Essendon are newcomers in comparison... and Brisbane aren't even out of nappies yet

We won the first bloody flag for christ sake. I'd hardly call that newcomers. Perhaps you little swannies should learn a bit more about this game thats been around over 100 years before making a public fool of yourself with statements like that. Yes Collinwood did lead the table for a long time but both Carlton & Essendon have enjoyed pretty consistant success since the VFL began.

You didn't dominate the premiership table for over half a century, but yes you have been consistent

I know you are a little slow ..but dominating a premiership table ..actually entails WINNING said premierships ..getting close for part of the year doesn't count...the Pies would be leading the table comfortably if they didn't choke in almost every GF they played in. If they were so dominant how come they are behind Carlton in Head to head games ?????

Compltetely inaacurate way to measure success. Completely off the ball. You have got way too much time mate. How can you rank Brisbane as no.1 when they have been in the competition for 18 years and a team like Carlton has been in it for 106? See my point? Not a good set up sunshine.

Have you thought of reading the thread before replying, or is that beneath your dignity?

P.S. Love your precise way of spelling 'completely inaccurate'. Most creative.
