Next week Martin gets downgraded and one of Gumby Rocky Davis gets upgraded. That should leave me with 8 trades for the rest of the year to cover injuries and/or strengthen the lineup as I see fit. Feels good to be a position like this rather than chasing my tail trying to make up ground.

Thanks mate. Your team is great, especially after the Martin upgrade. Really, after that, you have one more upgrade left (if you choose to go down that path)... Very, very nice. Only concerns are you D7 spot and Midfield bench. Other than that i'd hazard a guess and say it's definitely a top 500 team at worst.

Main worries would be:

DEF: Trengrove and Davis starting.

MID: Perfect. Leave as is.

RCK: Tippet. I would have personally traded him out at least a month ago.

FWD: Dawes and Reid. Did you just trade Dawes in?

nah had dawes in since round 4. reid im comfortable with. i really think he'll get his average up to the 80 mark by end of year. i got 14 trades left.

tippet i think im too proud to trade out... ill have taken a 200,000 loss on him and i keep convincing myself he'll come good.

as for trengrove and davis, any possible upgrades? i got $130,000 in the bank

Both have low B/E's.

Davis will jump up $16k with a 60ish score.
Trengrove (PTA) will jump $30k with a score of 50.

That's if they both play... hopefully they do.

cant see why you'd get rid of griffen. downgrade martin and upgrade trengove to get ablett. his breakeven is 246 your forward line definitely needs more work than your mids.

I reckon Griffen might drop away a bit, based on previous seasons.

Ablett's breakeven is massive so I figure it's better to wait until next week as his price is all but certain to drop.

Trengove going okay and his 120 or whatever it was will be there for another fortnight.

I would like to trade Waters to Hurn and also one of Fyfe, Gumbleton or Hitchcock to maybe Riewoldt when he comes back.

Safe to say I won't be trading for a bloody long time.

Nice team, but you have 6 Freo players, including 2 on the bench.
Imo only concern is probably Fyfe and maybe waters. But you should be able to upgrade Fyfe/Hitchock to a premium soon as they're playing really good.
