Phil Davis, playing him and hitchcock with fyfe and brown on the bench. gunna see how slattery and blair go this week, will prb cash in webberly, hopefully he kills it this week. then can upgrade fyfe, hopefully to roo, see how he goes.
i will be happy once fyfe is upgraded and brown is back....with 4 trades left to see the season out...will hopefully climb the rankings a little more!

Was in the same position but decided to spend the trade and correct the mistake. Glad I did, even though I'm running extremely low on trades right now, but team is set and as long as LTI's don't happen I should be fine.

Yup same. Pods has been really, really good amongst a bunch of other forwards that have done a lot of stuttering. I traded out Hitchcock for him somewhere in the couple of weeks there where he was injured or dropped (can't remember), same as you though, my team is set now. Happy with C.Cornes i suppose as a D7, will have to use Strijk/Webberley this week, no LTI's pleassssse

Trades left? Nicnat imo needs to be upgraded. Apart from that a very decent team. Possibly a little too much money on your back bench as well.

-also if u have a trade to spare u micht as well upgrade kenelly or simpson to a shaw or dal santo.

I am very tempted to trade out hall for sylvia this week, but I think I'm going to wait for roo to drop and guys like webberly, stevenson and strijk jump in value a bit more. Then I'll be trading Waters to a premo, hall to roo, and maybe gia to rioli. 5 trades left.

Judging by the 'all done', i'd say it was his last upgrade. Sure he could have pocketed an extra 50k by waiting an extra week, but who knows what he has in mind. Not sure who he traded out, what his overall ranking is etc, but lets give him benefit of the doubt. lol

I brought N.Riewoldt in myself this week. To avoid a donut with Hall and Franklin out, and it was my last upgrade also. I'm chasing a top 100 finish so i couldn't really run the risk of having a donut. I'm already off to a bad enough start as it is with ABlett captain, pods and enright having shockers. lol

I would love some feedback on my team and some advice on a few last moves I intend to make. I'm currently ranked 1,662 and have 5 trades and 207,000 in the kitty. Team reads:

Backs: Goddard, Hodge, Malceski, Enright, Hurn, Hargrave, Gram (Shephard, Webberley)

Mids: Ablett, Swan, Montagna, Judd, Pendlebury, Gibbs (Banner, Rohan)

Rucks: Sandilands, Cox (Warnock, McCauley)

Forwards: Pavlich, Harvey, O'Keefe, Didak, Giansiracusa, Goodes, Higgins (Fyfe, Gumbleton)

Ok the plan is to upgrade Gumby into Riewoldt when he has bottomed out, moving Higgins to the bench as a super-sub for Mids and Forwards. This will leave me with 4 trades and no cash for finals. If I somehow have no injuries then a luxury upgrade of Gibbs to Chapman and Gia to Franklin could be on the cards. Weak spot is probably the backline with Hurn, Hargrave and Gram all suspect, but I'm hoping they can hit form (Hargrave already has) for finals. What are people's thoughts? I think I have fairly decent coverage and my main aim is league victory so hopefully this helps me in that regard.

For nay sayers, it was my last upgrade. The fact is that I didn't need the extra cash. I have a few trades left and no upgrades to make, so I felt like it was worth the risk bringing him in because he is a champ. It clearly didn't work out this week but what difference did it make? I traded Fyfe out for him because I had the cash, waiting a few weeks and having $100K in my bank doing nothing doesn't really help me when I believe Riewoldt will outscore Fyfe by years end. Call it stupid, I'm not fussed. I still have trades for injuries so anything from now on shouldn't really involve cash for me.

Who would you rather, Riewoldt for 8 rounds or Fyfe for 8 rounds? Exactly.

V. good team and you're in a good position with five trades left. Gram could be a problem - I have him and his scores are pretty dreadful, but I hope they'll improve with a few games.

What about Fyfe to Riewoldt? With Higgins and Gumby you won't be lacking for bench cover, and that could leave you with 100k+ to upgrade Gram.

I wouldn't trade Gibbs to Chapman this late in the season - seems a bit risky.
