Now, I hope someone can do mine :)

DEF: Carrazzo, Hodge, Mackie, Birchall, Firrito, Kennelly, Ladson

MID: Bartel, Pendlebury, Deledio, Palmer, McVeigh, Trengrove (Melb)

RUC: Kreuzer, Tippett

FWD: Didak, Pavlich, Gia, Franklin, McPhee, Warren, Walker

All rookies subject to change :) . I know I'm taking a gamble on some players (Firrito, McVeigh, Palmer etc) and there are some Im uncertain of, but I'd love some advice :)

- Not a fan of Birchall. At his best can average around 8ish, but I don't think he will improve too much on where he is priced at, and there are a few better options around. Has a tendency to pull out a low score right when you don't need it.
- Don't know much about Firrito, but on last years scores he isn't a very consistant scorer, and you may end up putting your foot through your screen when he scores another 25
- McVeigh could be real value if he can stay on the park. Possibly worth the risk
- But having both McVeigh and Palmer alongside each other is a little ballsy.
- Forward line looks pretty solid, just make sure you have some cover for Buddy. I personally went ROK over Didak for consistancys sake. What's Warren priced at?

Any help with mine would be appreciated guys.

Only major concerns at the moment would be Palmer and Dangerfield. Apparently Waters is in good nick and in full training. Waite I'm hoping will be ok and will be monitoring NAB cup form.
Note: Mitchell will only be captain for round 1, as he has a good history vs the Demons. After that it's Ablett time :)

Nice team mate, just question marks over wether or not carrazzo will play the 22. I do indeed like the midfield. I think palmer is going to have a solid solid year, and if he plays the 22, he will average 100.
what was your reasoning for no ablett?
Rucks are fine
and im liking your fwd line, didak will have a gun year, gia if fit will hopefully produce a 90+ year.

nice team mate
really like your pick in ebert
not many people going for him this year and he is going to have a really good year
training very well over here
not sure but i heard waite might not be right for round 1, think i read it on footy tragic but you can always check closer to the opening round
im going to watch the eagles intraclub match today so i can let you know how waters is going, he did have a scare with his knee earlier on but seems to be doing fine now
i like your forward line but im not 100% on kennedy
he is definitely a star for the future but i dont think he is consistant enough yet
he will score well when we play at subi but away from home is another story all together
sweet rucks!
i think mitchell is a great dream teamer but he played the majority of the end of last year on the back flank where he got plenty of marks and kicks wherease he normally makes plenty of handballs when playing in the middle
id be more inclined to take sewell this year as he mainly kicks it and is a tackling machine, plus is still young and coming into his prime (not that mitchell isnt)

hope that helps

My reasoning is to pinch one of Swan/Ablett when they get to a reasonable price :)

I think that for roughly 45k less Bartel can do the job fine. And to the other bloke, Warren is at 235k which, if he can stay on the park, is a good buy in my book

Wondering if someone can please rate my team.

Mids: Pendleberry, Selwood, Vince, Kerr, Trengove, Martin (Morabito, Cunnington)

Rucks: Sandlands, Hille (Lobbe, Warnock)

Some Feedback would be nice.

Hey guys,

I've commented on a few of you guys teams and now i was hoping for you to return the favour. I know my rucks are pretty weak but that was because i'm unsure about how Cox will go and who knows how Jolly will go in partnership with fraser, kreuzer up forward etc. Anyway here it is:

Backs: Goddard, Mackie, Grimes, Harbrow, Hurley, Ladson, Schoenmakers.

Centres: Gibbs, J.Selwood, Cale Morton, Beams, Palmer, Trengove.

Rucks: Tippett, Naitanui

Forwards: Riewoldt, Didak, Higgins, Franklin, Medhurst, Wonaeamirri, Tom Lynch

Hey guys, 1st crack at my team for this season, just wondering if anyone has any tips, got $20,500 left

DT1.jpg

Nice team mate :thumbsu:.

Only question mark i would have is your pick in Fraser. I just can't see him scoring very well now with the inclusion of Jolly. I think his time in the ruck will diminish quite alot, which could produce a much lower average. Maybe swap him out for someone like Ryder or Tippet even?

Hey guys, please pick apart my team: I'm reasonably happy with it, but am unsure about a couple of players..

S Fisher
L Hodge
H Shaw
G Birchall
J Macdonald
T Kennelly
B Sheppard

D Swan
J Bartel
S Mitchell
D Mackay
J Trengove
D Martin

D Jolly
B Ottens

N Riewoldt
A Didak
C Sylvia
M Pavlich
R Murphy
J Ziebell
T Dennis-Lane

Bench is rookies and they will change so I'll leave it at that for now..

Thoughts??

Not a bad team i think. I'm not a fan of S.Burg, he could be a bit of a gamble. At second glance your team is quite solid, the only things I can see are that perhaps playing 2 centre rookies may be a problem? But then maybe you know something I dont :p Good work mate.

Now, I hope someone can do mine :)

Take out McVeigh from your mids and play Dusty Martin or Morabito.

Use that cash to upgrade Firrito. He's rubbish for Dream Team.

Particularly playing as a key defender with Gibson gone.

as a north fan I'd hope he doesnt play as a key defender. grima, hansen, thompson take the key men. firrito should be a more running off half back type but yep dont get him for DT no good.

alot of people seem to not be picking swan or ablett for the reason there price will drop....but since having soo many injuries last year trades need 2 be saved...have one of swan or ablett saves u from using a trade

That's a pretty solid team.

I think imo Jonathan Brown is better than Sylvia and cheaper. And try trading Talia or Wona for Polkinghorne (234,000).

I'm a believer that J Brown is great target for an upgrade during the year.

I have zero stats - but i'd hazard a guess that the back-end to his seasons are a mile better than the start!
