Unfortunately it's an extremely flawed metric for All-Sweet FA selection, and therefore should be considered very carefully; it essentially disadvantages deeper squads (as teammates are 'competing' against one another for votes).

I agree it is imperfect for exactly that reason.

But infinitely better than currently where it is essentially ignored.
