Remember this crows team belted Geelong in the same fixture last year.
Team showed tucker to stand up when it counted. There’s a lot to be fixed, yet we still walk away with a round 1 win.

The risk of keeping close to your man is that if your side wins the ball your opponent is right beside you.
It looked like we were setting up to punish hard when we won the ball with free running players ready to get involved, but when we didn't win the stoppage our players were all out of position.
He did and if he can keep it up, he stops Fyfe and Mundy from getting worn out in the trenches..
Third quarter was shit and we didn't kick straight but we could have easily folded but we never gave up and fought back while away with all momentum (including umpiring) against us.

Pardon the intrusion, but after being on the end of some dying seconds goals in recent years I have to say you guys thoroughly deserved to hold on to this one. Incredible composure and awareness from Chapman.

Just saying that there's only so many times it can happen, and you guys were due some good karma in that department. The fact that it was quality defense that saved it rather than the luck of a bounce is also pleasing to see.

Not my point, he plays better as the interceptor.. Let Logue play small.. I just don't think we were setup with an interceptor role in the game.
I can't make sense of these mid-game fadeouts, and don't have much else to add to the review (having not seen today's game)
I will say this though... when we fade out, it FEELS to me like some of the players are putting the cue in the rack... which is just the most monumentally stupid thing you can do!

If you're going to stick it anywhere, stick it through your opponent.

I haven't quite t givien up on him just yet as I think the run will do him good and he'll improve slightly in the coming weeks, but next year??? He's going to be at Peel all year.
A serious lack of class in our forward line is evident. We badly need a class small forward.
Our backline balance is poor. I think we are too tall and slow, and Clark and Young are both poor defensively which lets small forwards dominate.
Henry looks so good with the balls, but he just does not do enough with out. He should play WAFL, and Colyer should be in.
Walters is done. We should not have given him another year. It was a mistake.

Feels like the same old story of the last 5+ years, a lot of promise and looking like things might be starting to click, followed by a horrible reversion to our absolute worst.
Got to assume the hottest ever summer was brutal on the track and at least partially explains the fadeout, still depressing though.
