Unfortunately I exhausted all avenues of giving my tickets away, so my missus is holding a gun to my head and we're going to this s**t show.

Of all the games. At least she got nanny to babysit the kid (first time) so there's no excuse to not drink and forget the game after QT.

Just try to enjoy Daicos and watching a team with some sort of clue at the stoppages set up around the ball.

You go Little Dommy, go like the wind!
Wishing Mr. Floppy a great game!
Will be glued to the TV, for as long as the glue sticks?

Okay... I am watching for...

  • Allen to kick multiple goals
  • Barrass to kick a goal
  • Ginbey to have 15+ possessions
  • Long to have a good game
  • Bazzo to have a good game

Is Bazzo still eligible for a rising star nom? Hopefully a nom for him or Longy, 3 noms in a season would be good. Then Hewett or Maric to get a nom later in the season as well.

Let's get it up to 6 noms!

So what are the expectations for today's game?

M.Cox to be annoying.
Mihocek to kick 4 goals.
N.Daicos to get 40+ disposals.
Pendlebury to make us wonder what it would be like to have a player over 30 that doesn't fall off a cliff.
Bobby Hill to make us reconsider the 2018 pick swap once again.
Yeo to be angry.
Gaff to be depressing.
Allen to be a beacon.

To be honest I'm expecting a much closer match than most will be expecting. Sheed and Yeo have games under their belt since returning and will play more onball minutes today.

Collingwood are also travelling for just the fourth time this year:
  • they lost against Brisbane at the Gabba by 33 points
  • defeated Adelaide by 1 point at Adelaide Oval in a match they should have lost by multiple goals if the Crows had kicked straight
  • defeated St Kilda by 6 points at Adelaide Oval in a match where the Saints kicked 3.6 in the last quarter

Conversely, West Coast have back-to-back home matches for the first time this season since Round 4.

Not suggesting there will be an upset, but we may (hopefully) see a more competitive display today than what has been witnessed recently.

That bloody septic tank cox is going to slaughter our defence isn’t he?

What a choice Bazzo or Rotham
