Disappointed but in fairness they are terrible also and won't win many more this year based on that. I think the positivity and enjoyment for the season for us at least is well and truly over now. It'll be a long end to the season.

The thing i'm most frustrated about is the lack of movement through the middle.
It was a highlight for the first few wins we got and has slowly just disappeared.

To be fair who could come in? Trew is just not good enough for AFL no matter what he does in WAFL. Why he is still on the list is extremely poor list management. Sheed and Gaff are only in because there's nobody better in the WAFL
Sheed shouldn't be in the team, I'd take literally anyone from the WAFL team over him at the moment as he offers absolutely nothing. Slow, no hurt factor and a defensive liability. Would much rather Trew a full game in the guts then that absolute joke of a footballer.

Very frustrating match.

St Kilda only interested in shutting down the match first and scoring after that.

Really missed Kelly today. With Reid receiving the hard tag and Yeo on J.Steele, the club needed a third midfield option to stand up at stoppages. None did and that was the game.

When Waterman went down, I was less hopeful of a good outcome. Credit to Crippa and Ryan, they were golden today. Gaff probably did enough to keep himself in. Please for the love of god, can we do away with Sheed now?

Have to question Simmo for taking JW off, felt he was hard done by getting taken off.

Feel for Harley, frustrations got to him being tagged (can understand when he's being held in every contest). Will see the outcome of his dump tackle. Simmo needed to move him up forward away from the tag.

Definitely need more speed. Always felt like we were second to the loose ball.

Gaff and Sheed :fire:

Trew didnt exactly set the world on fire. Was already gone when we lost Waterman. Now we are without Harley, Waterman and Kelly even Norf should be in with a good chance. Ah well hopefully in a few weeks we will at least have Allen back.

Yep, no run. Brad Hill and Wanganeen-milera killed as there, too pacy. What did we have - Gaff and Sheed - though Gaff was OK in the 1st half, neither are taking us to the promised land. Don't play them! Too slow, no spread, no recovery.
Barrass was enormous, Gov too. Nothing from our land of the giants forwards, Culley would have been a better option there.
Nothing from Maric, Petrucelle, and too little from many others.
Cripps - well done! Sensational kicking.

Trew is just the same - slow, no hurt factor and a defensive liability. He has a worse kick than Sheed too.

Those two wins against Freo and Melbourne made people forget we finished last last year and had five wins in two seasons. This is where the team's at. Older talent wrapping up their careers, young talent just starting theirs, with an absolute cavern of nothingness in the middle age bracket. This is what we are, only multiple drafts of good picks will help us get out of it.

One of the games of the season, in that it was one of the games that happened this season.

Into the autopsy:
