I'm hoping if Leuey comes in and plays like he did in that 2011 game against the Saints where McCauley was the main ruck & Leuey was clunkin marks around the 50, only to kick 4 or 5 behinds. His set shot has improved immensely I just hope his marking has in the last 4 days

Given he has completed more pre-season this year than for some time, his lack of form is quite baffling really. Might be a confidence thing but really given his experience he should be showing more. Hope like hell he can turn the corner soon.

It wasn't so much what was said, it was the way it was said. Just for the tips from the players it was 'Carlton', 'Carlton', 'Carlton' - no real need to discuss anything, Sam was just resolute, said "carlton will win it wouldn't matter where it was played", Gary just shrugged his shoulders and said "yeah - carlton" then it was moving right along.

It wasn't that we were torn to shreds or anything, it was almost like it was to awkward to discuss, just could sense the absolute and utter disregard the football world has for our team, with a mixture of sympathy and embarrassment I suppose, I used to love Browny on there going into bat for us, we miss that bloke more than we know.

it left me flat.

The same thing gets said about Footy Classified, 360, SEN.. it's such a knee jerk response and lacks any substance.

Me - I care. I have watched the show for 20 years, it has an esteemed panel of media types, ex and current players and is one of the loudest voices in the football industry. lol - It wasn't the end of the world, just a flat moment, I mentioned it in the preview thread, as they had just offered their preview and hundreds of thousands of people had just watched it.

Does that explain your question about 'who cares'?

Same thing when triple m discussed the lions vs eagles game in which spud frawley said "well, no one cares about this game. Let's move on"

I know we aren't s great team but made me feel really flat also. I know he is a w***er but still makes the lions feel like they aren't even worth talking about

I'd probably rather stick needles in my eyes than watch the Footy Show. Each to their own I suppose.

So I'm no fancy pants math-magician but based purely on those facts all we need to do is let the Blues smash us on Sunday and then we will have a close loss the following week then win the next 20 games in a row!!
